Worry-free Encryption
What do you like best about the product?
Virtru makes it easy for my to toggle the encryption level of emails being sent to the patients I work with. I really appreciate the pre-poulated message that is included with each encrypted message sent, instructing the recipient to verify their email address. One less thing to worry about!
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have a secondary way of receipients verifying their identy, perhaps a secure one-time use code. I have run into trouble with patients who do not remember their own email acoount passwords, and therefore cannot open my messages to them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company uses Virtru to assist with HiPAA compliant message from providers to patients.
Very easy to install and user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
It does not require going to settings and is very straight forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
When using a cell phone to look at emails, it sends you to their website to unlock a message. ( which is due to not having the extension or app on the phone, so that makes sense)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HIPAA compliant emails so it makes it easier to discuss between medical providers and staff

What do you like best about the product?
Simple for email platform. Allows attachments and a header which makes it easier to commuincate with customers who are unfamiliar.
What do you dislike about the product?
"plain text" error often when trying to send attachments. Cusotmers who are not familiar often have difficulty accessing attachments.

Compliance with regulatory laws.

All-in-One Email Encryption
What do you like best about the product?
Virtu provides protection against bad actors. It safeguards sensitive information shared files and emails by offering end-to-end encryption.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about Virtru is sometimes doesn't sync correctly leaving staff members not being able open emails from other employees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The issue you're facing is a serious one: staff members accidentally sending HIPAA-sensitive information without proper protection. This can lead to data breaches, regulatory violations, and potentially harm to patients or clients. On top of that, there's a growing need for secure, mobile-friendly solutions that allow staff to send protected emails while on the go. This makes it clear that ensuring the security of sensitive data, no matter where or how it’s shared, is critical.
Great for privacy
What do you like best about the product?
It has been easy to use for sending information in a secure and private way. I love the ability to use it easily with patients and providers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only disadvantage is having to have patients click to see information.

Virtru Email Encryption fails to meet expectations
What do you like best about the product?
The very basic funtionality of the Email Encryption s inconsistent. But I like the platforms simple design and easy of operation. It is also intuitive to navigate and avoid confusing multiple setps to enable the service.
What do you dislike about the product?
The basic encryption service is very inconsistent. Encryption functionality does not always work causing failure of email deliveries and delays in work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sucures and protects data and sentitive information including Personal Identifiable Information, financial details, and confidential business communications.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Virtru Email Encryption daily to maintain client cofidentiality. Its fuctionality is efficient and user-friendly. It was easy to install.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sending encrypted email to providers outside of the organization is often slow and difficult on the recieving end. They report being caught in a buffering loop for long periods, even days. Both internally and externally, email attachments often require a second authentification which is time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtru helps ensure client confidentiality.
