Life saver when onboarding to a new company
What do you like best about the product?
I use it constantly to find any relevant document to something I need or to get inspiration for something I want to create. We have it connected to all systems so I can find anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not too much to dislike. Sometimes the suggestions can be better. Also, if you make any kind of spelling error then there is no kind of automatic correction, you will have to research with correct spelling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documents are everywhere and information is shared in all sorts of ways. Instead of asking all my colleagues to share ideas or documents, I find them quickly through a glean search.
Best enterprise tool for internal info
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Glean(called uSearch internally) so many times, everyday. It gets info from all the available internal knowledge bases, slack and wikis. There are great options to add it to chrome home page and also messages can be previewed in that page itself of redirecting to specific app.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish search could be improved when multiple words are entered on the search tab. Example, if search is "word_1 and word_2", I wish see the results in the order of closeness of these words in the result content, but at the moment it's going through document and showing results which contains these words in different paragraphs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me get the resources I need very quickly. If not for this, I would be searching the same query in Slack, Engwiki, Confluence and other internal pages.

Searching for any information/keyword in all the integrated systems within the company.
Gleam is awesome - I use it multiple times per day
What do you like best about the product?
Glean indexes almost all of Roblox's internal resources. It's especially helpful for Confluence, which has awful search. The fact that it indexes my private documents is also impressive and very handy. It does quite a good job with search ranking as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't really experienced significant downsides to Glean.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Glean saves me time using multiple different search tools - Confluence, Google Drive, Slack, Jira, and Github. It's made to do one thing and does that very well. It's also fast, comparable to Google.
One stop shop for all internal resources

-Provides all available information from Kbs, Jira, slack, confluence, engineering documentation, and the most accurate results.

What do you dislike about the product?
-Everything about glean is great so far. I think incorporating an AI chatbot like chatGPT will be awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Glean helps bring together all the relevant and accurate information based on search which saves a lot of time in looking for information and boosts productivity at work.
Glean is an amazing work search engine and has become my daily go-to for any & all queries!
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to search across various work platforms - especially JIRA, Confluence, Google Docs & Slack - helps improve dev-productivity & makes it easier & much quicker to solve development-related issues which others may have encountered earlier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes integrations with Firefox are a little difficult and some things tend to stop working - better testing across multiple browsers would be a good to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Searching across various enterprise data, spread throughout several platforms such as JIRA, Confluence and many more, is nicely handled by Glean. Instead of trying to search across each application individually, a unified interface helps a lot in routine works as a software engineer.
Great tool for searching through the plethora of internal documents
What do you like best about the product?
Glean makes it very easy to quickly look if there is already some documentation or prior work done on any project that I want to start work on. More often than not, you end up spending a lot of time searching for the right resource and its location, but with Glean now I can search across different internal resources all at once, and also apply filters to the search.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that will help Glean more powerful is the ability to do more advanced searches and also I would love the ability to setup an alert for a search whenever something new comes up for my criteria.

- Glean UI is responsive, and New Tab page caching is a beautiful concept.
- Workhub idea is expanding its use case beyond just search engines.
- Good team of responsive engineers, the focus is on building better products.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Very less customization experience for end users regarding search in datasources and homepage content. Access control should be way better and granular. Like AD, team, location, Department, GGroups, Slack channel etc levels.
- Minimal user usage insights in dashboards. e,g Datasource clicks, the Workhub widget view/clicks ratio is missing. No insights on ingestion failure or doc count etc. Lots more self-serve abilities need to add.

Glean solve permission-based search for Organization. With more and more SaaS platforms in market, companies use different tools for different purpose which cause the scattering of information and Glean act as the gatherer of information

Increased efficiency, can find almost anything. Relevance of search results

Filtering could be improved, for example when I am entering search text and want to restrict search results to a specific site.

Discovering information in confluence, this search works better than confluence search results. Also like the fact that it searches in google doc, slack and several other resources
Google for Work
What do you like best about the product?
Any software developer knows how much you depend on Google to find answers to your questions from multiple sites - and Glean is the Google of your work. Being able to search internal Zendesk, Slack, Jira, Confluence from a single place makes this the go-to tool I use for answers every single day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Quoting doesn't always work properly, for some reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Glean helps solve all my problems by aggregating search functionality across the many internal tools we have into a single location. Instead of searching many different places Zendesk, Confluence, Jira, Slack, Gmail etc, I just search on Glean.
