Manage Engine Endpoint Central makes Remote support of devices easy while effortlessly patching and reporting on devices.

Can be complicated at times. Can be buggy but support able to resolve the majority of problems quickly.

Ability to easily patch devices and for our service desk to remotely support

Some upgrades affect old agents and a re-install is required

One major issue was SOE creation and deployment. It is very easy to capture, replicate and deploy images to computers now

Management and patch management for devices.
Simple, easy and it just works!
What do you like best about the product?
It really is a one stop shop for us, it has quickly become our go to tool for nearly anything, software deployment, update deployments (hands down best feature), PC imaging, Mobile device managament and remote assistance (both in and out of domain) just to name a few. Setup was breeze, we used a third party and it couldnt have been easier to intergate in our environment. I do love the chat with us support button, whenever you have a question a real live person responds to you via chat fast, minutes, I prefer this method of support best for its promptness and accuracy. To say we use the software daily would be an understatment, I would say we are using Endpoint Central every hour of the day!
What do you dislike about the product?
Updating ManageEngine Endpoint Central can be time consuming and fequent if you are trying to stay on the latest version. Update cause all of the endpoint agents to update, if one fails you lose all connectivity to it. Updating also resets all of your image deployment media, its not a huge deal but does add to the post updating proceedures. Due to this fact we have been updating quartly as long as there are no imminent security concerns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this software for keeping both endpoints and servers up to date with both OS and third party apps. We had no imaging capability prior to this, I have experience imaging with other popular imaging solutions from a major OS developer and Endpoint Central is so much easier with easy to navigate GUI, a massive pre-packaged software library from Google earth to 7Zip, live capture and easy deployment options. We have been accumulating more and more mobile devices that were unmanaged and probably misused, we now have the abilty to configure, monitor and remote support all of them.

What do you like best about the product?
The key feature for us is ManageEngine Endpoint Central provides one central location to manage and oversee our organisation. The tool provides an simplified method to manage patch management from OS to Applications which is something that other vendors don't provide. The vulnerability tool provides a way of accessing were resources need to be focused and the remote management tool gives us the ability to connect quickly and resource issues. In a world were remote working is more lilkely, it is refreshing to have a solution that can oversee assets without being connected to the local network.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that there can be some false positives when the agent is first installed, which can be annoyed, but this tends to correct after a period of time.

Key problems that the tools solves is patch mangement for Windows Operating Systems and also third party applications

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to see my endpoint compliance details for all of my devices. MEEC includes patch mgmt, software deployments and MDM along with several other crucial details about your fleet of devices allowing you to see many aspects of compliance in one pane of glass. It also integrates with their servicedesk to provide automated details about your fleet automatically when a ticket is entered.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to go back to a previous screen without losing all of your filters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to maintain compliace by keeping endpoints updated and secure through the use of MEEC and all of its tools. Out techs love it because they can see just about anything about their local networks and inventory and push desired updates via this software. The ability to jump on a remote session with a user when they enter a ticket helps streamline our ability to help an end user quickly and efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
Setting up automated patching and delivering software to endpoints is a breeze and highly reliable. Integration with ServiceDesk Plus is also highly beneficial to our firm.

Desktop Central makes things easy to setup, monitor deploying and trace assets, secure our network.
What do you like best about the product?
Managing user assets and ensuring that all our machine patches are updated. it makes it easier to do everything in bulk with no need of having to have the user's machine
They offer the best customer support at all times and quick help to resolve the issue.
The site is never down depending on the server on our end being down.

What do you dislike about the product?
I am unable to monitor the logon and logoff of user's machine but that does not decrease the great impact it adds into our daily tasks
