API Security As It Should be, the best for AI
What do you like best about the product?
We appreciate Wallarm API Security Platform for its advanced threat protection capabilities, effectively shielding our systems from a wide range of cyber attacks with minimal false positives. Its real-time incident response and intelligent automation stand out, ensuring our infrastructure remains secure and resilient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many features inside, hard to get which we need. Called support team many times.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Wallarm is the client care, and commitment to client satisfaction. High integrity company with a customer focus and desire to enhance their product to meet feature requests. Like most cloud based products, there is a shared responsibility between client and vendor to make it work optimally. I can attest in my experience that Wallarm will meet you where you are, so long as you do your part too. Tim Ebbers and team will work hard to help you glean the most value from your investment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The containerized architecture may not be conducive to every environment/organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Defending against web-based attacks, OWASP Top 10 and the like...
Professional API for our business
What do you like best about the product?
Wallarm API Security doesn't only provide you general protection, it has a lot of other useful features (for example antibot and scanner). All rules including bruteforce protection rules are highly customizable and have many actions. Everything is also easy to manage and integrate. Cloud deployment is very welcome as well and lowers a point of entry for companies without big infrastructures. Reports are easy to read and overall design is very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a small delay for synchronization between Wallarm Cloud and our nodes (like 3-5 minutes), so new rules are not applied instantly. Not a big problem, but wanted to highlight it anyway. Can't remember anything else to complain about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wallarm API Security protects us from many types of threats including DDOS, attacks, bots. We can also see our perimeter using Wallarm scanner and close potential vulnerabilities.

1. Antibot protection is very powerful, uses a lot of data and updated regularly
2. Flexible and robust bruteforce protection with customizable triggers and actions
3. Multiple modes of work and different IP lists (customizable priorities too)
4. Easy custom integrations with webhooks and a lot of built-in integrations

6. Cloud based solution so you don't have to deploy it on your side

1. First two weeks we had some false positives, but they were fixed in monitoring mode (no traffic impact)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're happy it's not an on-premise solution. We really appreciate easy deployment and professional support. Also Wallarm protects against all top 10 OWASP attacks and provides a very good detection.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to complain here. Our experience with Wallarm is very positive and we appreciate that small company provides better service and product than other companies. Ability to manage NGINX in the dashboard would be nice though

Firewall for both Internal and external traffic. Wallarm is also useful for statistics so we always know which hours have more traffic and we plan our marketing activities accordingly.
Effective security tool with a great reporting system
What do you like best about the product?
Wallarm combines global protection rules with the rules made for specific customers. This allows us to get the most stable and up-to-date security, including zero-day fixes. Wallarm support team engineers already proved to us how efficient and knowledgeable they are and how easy it is to communicate with them. It's also easy to track all the product changes and best practices in their blog.
What do you dislike about the product?
First time configuration can be tricky for people who don't have any experience or background in cybersecurity. Ideally you should be able to understand if a specific request is an attack or not to eliminate possible false positives. Luckily support team is always there for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wallarm helps us to protect our applications and domains from different types of attacks. They even have reliable bruteforce protection with triggers and rate limiting. We also track possible vulnerabilities on our side and fix them before any hackers could exploit those.

What do you like best about the product?
Great protection against all types of attacks. Ruleset is very flexible and allows many variables and conditions, that allows us to cover any protection scenarios easily. Extraordinary support team, helped us a lot with our configuration. Smart dashboard design.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to complain about. One suggestion though, maybe add more best practices and good examples to your documentation, sometimes you have to make an effort and do some additional research to understand the product better when you're new to the system.

Wallarm API Security Platform protects our web applications and domains with great efficiency. We also enjoy perimeter scanner, vulnerabilities detection is very useful as well.
Powerful and pleasant to use
What do you like best about the product?
Wallarm API Security is a great tool to have if you need to secure your domains from external attacks. We really like that it protects from all kinds of attacks including bots and massive requests spam. The dashboard is clean and informative, reports are highly customizable. Support team is very friendly and nice to talk to.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't have any problems so far, one suggestion is to add more best practices to the documentation site. Some training videos are also very welcome and we would love if Wallarm could provide some webinars from time to time.

Wallarm API Security secures our domains and has a very useful data on number and types of attacks, so we always know if we need to improve anything and also how to do it. Vulnerabilities scanner is also very good.
Amazing tool for your company
What do you like best about the product?
We're satisfied with Wallarm so far and can't complain too much. After proper configuration API Security platform is very stable, we also appreciate detailed data from the dashboard, it's very useful. Overall it's a nice product with few flaws. We also would like to mention nice documentation with best practices and very friendly support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
False positives can be a problem sometimes, so you have to be extra careful when adding a new domain to your perimeter. My advice is to always double-check your rules when you do that. This and a lot of time is required for configuration and initial deployment.

We use it to protect our perimeter from external attackers and all OWASP Top-10 threats are blocked very effectively, sometimes even too effectively. But you know, better have some false positives than full-scale security breach.
Simple to use once you configured everything
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is the dashboard, because it's clean, beautiful and easy to understand at the first glance. We worked a lot with Wallarm technical support to deploy NGINX on our Debian server. After that we also spent some time eliminating false positives on our client. So once you have all the correct rules it's a very simple and enjoyable tool. Don't be scared by initial deployment.
What do you dislike about the product?
As I mentioned before, it takes a lot of time and courage to get everything right. Also if you deploy in cloud, you need to pay for cloud as well and it can be expensive for small companies. But we are lucky and we have a budget.

Wallarm protects our environment and endpoints from external attacks. We also use it to monitor times when traffic is high and we use this information to adjust our activities and promotions.
