First impression of Wallarm
What do you like best about the product?
API security easily integrates into our production system to prevent attacks. Convenient visualization of data in a dashboard on the main page of our personal account.
What do you dislike about the product?
System takes some time to synchronize rules during deployment. Technical support team however is very friendly and provided great feedback and help with configuration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At this moment my team is developing a service for the project development of students. We decided to try Wallarm to preserve the security of user data. From my experience during a testing stage, Wallarm is a great product and blocks all types of attacks very well.

What do you like best about the product?
Is most helpful about WAF is use artificial intelligence and searhing for unknown bugs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wallarm Rechecker sometimes "attacks" an aplication with a large number of requests when re-checking a vulnerability. If the application is not ready for this, it can cause problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Caught and warned in a direct brute-force attack on a database.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't be afraid of WAF, but take it for granted. Without it, a project that benefits the business cannot take place.
Wallarm review after <6M usage
What do you like best about the product?
Can work in parallel with your infrasctucture/services and if Wallarm endpoint for some reason falls down (never happened to the extent of my knowledge), your infrastructure/services keeps working (without the WAF protection of course) because it is not like a proxy but a modified web server with an extension to analyze the traffic and block it when rules match.
What do you dislike about the product?
Rule creation feature is a bit confusing for newbies. Must carefully read the documentation to understand the syntax.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Implementation of WAF is rather simple compared to other Opensource solutions and there are already some pre-build example/rules that are useful.

Port checking and traffic analysis works great

Maybe the price is not so small, but I think it's worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DDoS protection and port scanning
Easy to deploy, meets the market requirement and threat database is up to the mark.
What do you like best about the product?
The threat analysis and highlighting capabilities and giving the option to tune the levels to identify potential threats.

Its still needs to work on the report creation part as per the security standards.

A WAF with an A Team
What do you like best about the product?
I find the support and deployment model most helpful with Wallarm. They are a capable and responsive team that cares deeply about our security and service. You can deploy Wallarm as an Nginx server on your network and control it via a SaaS dashboard. You regain control of your production network but still benefit from a managed and easy-to-use console—the best of both worlds.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like all web application firewalls, wallarm will require your attention to manage false positives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We benefit from extensive web application security and visibility. Protection against injections, automation, XSS and more web attacks.

some troubles with installation, nothing major but our engeneer spent 2 hours to understand how to install this.

The solution provided by this company is advanced in the market, has unique characteristics and round-the-clock support interested in developing its own product. The learning process for this product is also very competently structured, the experts are leading in the market and have a very large store of knowledge.

Lack of much competition, a closed part of artificial intelligence and partners of the company

What do you like best about the product?
Most of the beauty of Wallarm that it allows you to cover both of the needs: an active scanner and WAF at once, so configure tools once you are getting protection and security health checks in one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a few first weeks to help their machine learning engine to know your application structure (which is a pain in the neck during initial installation) but after a few weeks and when it's properly done you run application security on autopilot and it worth it.
