Great MDR solution with transparent visibility
What do you like best about the product?
Able to get a complete bread crumb trail on incidents. Full visibility of the and detail on each incident.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially the setup. Can be cumbersome, but once in place it's solid. Some alerting could use a bit more polishing when alerted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track proactively our vulnerabilities and CVE releases. Providing help and detail to resolve with our NOC.
We are using AlertLogic/ Forta for two years.
What do you like best about the product?
It is simple to deploy. The dashboard is informative and easy to navigate. Agents are easy to install
What do you dislike about the product?
Reports are limited; instead of emailing a PDF report, Alertlogic sends a link that still requires a logon.
The vulnerability list is difficult to navigate and understand.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Initially we started with Alertlogic for compliance requirements. Now it is our to go security monitoring tool, we try to integrate all other products' log into it.
SOC on steroids
What do you like best about the product?
SOC capabilities enabling full visibility and logging. Vulnerability management and compliance has been great. Easy to setup with support assistance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Expensive than compatitors. Customer automation can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IDS capabilities are one of the best but a bit expensive. We have full visibility of the customer workload and have been onboarding customers with easy deployments in the cloud.

What do you like best about the product?
The IDS security system offers exceptional protection and meets high standards of compliance with all major regulatory requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Grasping the basics can be challenging for newcomers.

We sought comprehensive visibility into our infrastructure, and MDR has fully met our needs through its IDS capabilities, log ingestion, and vulnerability scanning, effectively solving our challenges.

Reliable IDS for the network. Advanced real time monitoring and alerting system. Logs ingesion and analysis.

Can get expensive. Complex to configure.

Logs management and analysis has been greatly simplified. The support team is managing all the heavylifting from onboarding till the lifecycle of the deployments.

Fast Time to Value with Broad Threat Detection Capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
Alert Logic is very easy to deploy, and has very broad security detections capabilities from detecting vulnerability, exposures, anomalous events based on logs, intrusions and lateral movements based on HIDS. Alert Logic also uses a very extensive querying language that will not rely on parsers when creating custom searches or rules. It is very easy to operationalize and realize the worth of your investment with Alert Logic.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tiering licensing model especially and inability to customize dashboards and reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are an MSOC provider using Alert Logic as our main platform and collaborating partner when it comes to threat detection. Alert Logic benefits us on achieving faster time to implement the product, filtered and curated alerts which resulted into a faster time to respond by reducing the time to validate and investigate on false positive alerts. Alert Logic also helped us gain end-to-end visibility on the customer's environment without having the complexity to implement and integrate different security controls.

Initial understanding can be difficult for beginners

We wanted to easily enable IDS and complaince which helped us alot.

What do you like best about the product?
Helped us achieving compliance and winning trust of more and more customers. We count on MDR for logs analysis heavily and it has not disappointed us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Automation and heurictic analysis with AI to update security controls would be a great addition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Day to day analysis of the servers and network has been great. Any unwanted or dangerous modification to the infra can easily be identified and notified over emails and other integration channels.
