The easy-to-use interface, along with the customer service from the Zeta team, has been really helpful for launching large campaigns and reporting important send data back to us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were additional resources available to help explain some of the more complex UI features and tools.

Streamlined Email Campaigns with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the Zeta Marketing Platform for its ability to duplicate campaigns easily, which is quite specific but really useful for us. The visual editor for creating email templates is a standout feature for me since it allows creation and editing on the fly without the need for HTML code. This is particularly helpful for those not familiar with HTML, making the structuring of emails simpler. Another aspect I like a lot is the ability to split and organize audiences, which is great for AB testing and other uses. These features make it an important tool for our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the biggest thing that would probably need improvement is the Athena AI chatbot. I think it's a really helpful tool that could be excellent, but it needs to improve its capabilities of diving deeper into what it's showing you. It can show you things, but it doesn't feel like it can actually read and dive into those things. Also, I do find that the loading times of everything are quite long. When I'm searching for specific campaigns or audiences or content, it tends to take a while to load. I'm not sure if that's because we have lots of content on there or if it's something happening on the Zeta end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Zeta Marketing Platform crucial for clear and accurate email distribution to various audiences. It also allows easy duplication of campaigns, creates email templates without HTML, and organizes audiences for A/B testing. However, the Athena AI chatbot needs deeper insights, and loading times are long.
Powerful Data Unification and Segmentation for Smarter Cross-Channel Campaigns
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Zeta Marketing Platform is its strong customer data unification and advanced audience segmentation. The platform makes it easy to create highly targeted, cross-channel campaigns using real-time insights, which improves personalization and campaign performance. The analytics and reporting also help quickly measure ROI and optimize marketing efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback of the Zeta Marketing Platform is its steep learning curve, especially for new users. The UI can feel complex when setting up campaigns or navigating advanced features, and some workflows require more steps than expected. Additionally, customization and integrations may require technical support, which can slow down implementation for lean teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zeta Marketing Platform solves the problem of fragmented customer data and disconnected campaign execution. By unifying customer profiles and enabling advanced segmentation and personalization across channels, it helps us deliver more relevant messages at the right time. This improves targeting accuracy, campaign performance, and overall marketing ROI while reducing manual effort and guesswork.
Simple, Intuitive ESP for Managing Campaigns and Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I find the overall system to be simple and intuitive. Being the first ESP I have worked with I found it quite simple to understand how to send, view, and manage different campaigns and emails as well as get a basic overview of the analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest pain point was just how slow the web UI was when trying to view or search for campaigns. I also never found a good way to view detailed things like campaign code or queries without going into edit mode which required the related campaign to deactivated, so I would have to clone something and then click edit just to get a more granular view.
Also although the anaytics section seemed very powerful it was not intuitive on how to build queries and whatnot.
I also found API documentation was a little confusing as things like core paths varied between things like sending emails and updating user events. Unsure of when to use what version. There were also some api functionality that was missing like sending test emails from triggered campaigns.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solved our ability to send emails, easily view analytics, integrate into our existing systems (both analytics and internal tooling), and create or edit a wide variety of different emails.
Strong Performance and Smooth Database Integration

What do you dislike about the product?
The main pain point have is that the platform is character sensitive

Being able to attain and accurate audience for us to be able to target when running our campaigns
Flexible Experience Building
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the email platform in the Zeta Marketing Platform is easy to use. It helps us to segment our audience and build broadcast and customer experiences effectively. I also appreciate that experiences can be built in multiple ways, allowing us to tailor them to various segments of different lengths, ensuring a better behavioral experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our data uploads don’t always match our data warehouse numbers, and we have a lot of custom builds for what we need; sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Zeta Marketing Platform helps us segment our audience and build targeted customer experiences, ensuring a better behavioral experience.
Easy-to-Use, Visually Pleasing Interface

Using the platform to find organic avails for our audience as well as the AI component
"Powerful Data Foundation, But Be Ready to Put in the Work"
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, the data depth is what stands out most. The identity resolution is genuinely strong -- pulling together first and third party signals to build rich customer profiles at scale is something a lot of platforms claim to do but Zeta actually delivers on it.
For clients focused on personalization, that foundation makes a real difference. And the native AI predictions for propensity and churn are useful since you're not standing up a separate data science effort to get there.
That said, a 6 out of 10 reflects the reality that it's not a slam dunk. There are usability and implementation challenges that hold it back, and the value really depends on how mature your data strategy already is. The potential is there, but it takes work to fully realize it.

What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation complexity is the biggest pain point. Getting the platform fully stood up and integrated takes longer than it should, and clients often underestimate the internal resources required to make it work well. It's not a plug and play situation by any stretch.
The UI is another frustration. For a platform that positions itself as cutting edge, the interface can feel clunky and unintuitive in certain areas. It slows down day to day usage and creates a steeper learning curve for teams that are just getting started.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The core problem it's solving is fragmentation. Most mid to large enterprises are dealing with customer data scattered across a bunch of different systems, and making that data actionable in a marketing context is genuinely hard. Zeta helps consolidate that and gives you a more unified view of the customer to work from.
For clients I've worked with, the biggest benefit has been around targeting precision. When you're working with cleaner, more complete profiles you're not wasting budget spraying messages at the wrong audiences. That shows up in campaign performance and it's a tangible ROI conversation you can have with leadership.
