Good Insights
What do you like best about the product?
Great insight and information. Lots of different features available. Love that we can easily create personas based on real behavior.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data and insights are great but getting to the meat of it usually requires help from the Zeta team to build and deliver insights instead of being a self-service platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to get deeper insights on real people.
Zeta is generally a good platform to use for email campaigns, it’s not complicated either

The most helpful part of zeta is being able to create audiences easily and also being able to track the performance of campaigns

Sometimes the performance of campaigns isn’t accurate and is the figures are higher than it actually is
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Zeta Marketing Platform primarily for setting up email campaigns for clients, and it’s been instrumental in solving several key challenges. One of the biggest problems it addresses is audience segmentation and personalization at scale. Zeta’s robust data capabilities allow me to create highly targeted campaigns based on real-time customer behavior and insights, which significantly improves engagement and conversion rates.
Great tool and great team
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the support and the level of the team engagement with us around our deployment and our ongoing support. the tool is really robust and can meet our needs now, and also needs we are ready for yet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes they can get stuck in there process, and things take a while to get answered or done. Normally this is with new projects work, not issues with the base tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we did not have a CDP nor a way to do any automated marketing to our customers.
Zeta Global - Responsive/Helpful and Insightful
What do you like best about the product?
My reps are extremely helpful, kind, and insightful. I always feel confident that my campaigns with Zeta will
What do you dislike about the product?
No dashboard capabilities. Wish there was a place we could access data real time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to have display ads with geofencing and Zeta Global assists with that.
Not user friendly & hard to set up
What do you like best about the product?
Not much - the past year I've been using the platform, I've had struggles. I came from an agency as an email marketing manager and have used basically every ESP under the sun and ZMP is my least favorite. Marketo or Active Campaign might be the most comparable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Basically everything.
I think it is the most un-user friendly ESP I have ever used. Again, I've used every ESP under the sun and this is one of the worst. There isn't a great knowledge base to help users work through problems on their own. When you do reach out to an account manager, it has taken weeks for them to get back. Our main point of contact always responds on calls that they will get back and for a while, it was us following up. There was a huge project for us that we needed Zeta to set up because they also gatekeep a lot of features, and it was the biggest revenue driver for us and it took them 6 months to set up - it seemed like they just continued to push it off until I got our CMO involved.
They also trap you into a contract - You have to guess how many emails you are going to send at the beginning of the year and if you go over, you get super premium charges. We would hope that our partner loves our growth and encourages it. If we are having a good year and grow our database, we shouldn't be punished for not anticipating it.
It also takes forever to load - any time I'm trying to build a segment it can take 8 hours to actually show the number. Also when putting criteria on top of eachother, it always fails. There should be a filter to include "contains" that doesn't have to be a specific dropdown from campaigns. Also to download any type of reporting, you need to export it to your email to just re-open it in the software. It's super frustarating. The list goes on about things I dont like about the program and as the Sr Email Manager, I will not be re-signing the contract next go around.

It is sending our emails and providing reporting about email-specific KPIs but not much other than that - it doesn't even pull email revenue correctly so we need to go into another system for that

I would like ZOE to be built out more, she has been in beta a long time!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ZMP tackles the siloed, incomplete customer data and manual campaign complexities that used to slow me down. By unifying all my customer profiles and automating cross-channel personalization, it saves me hours of tedious work, boosts engagement rates, and drives better ROI on every campaign.

What do you like best about the product?
We've benefited from the fact that we can manage and send campaigns on our own, without having to work with an in-house SME. In doing so, we've cut time to market from a minimum of 2 weeks, to a matter of days in some instances. It's really been a game changer for our team. We sent about 37 unique campaigns YTD and haven't had many issues at all - with both marketing and transactional emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've found that special links can be temperamental at times. Also, it would be nice to be able to get the look/feel of an HTML email, without having a deep knowledge of coding. Maybe that looks like more options as it relates to formatting, I'm not sure. But an "HTML for dummies" option would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team currently uses Zeta for B2B email marketing, as well as occasional transactional/servicing communications. Zeta is our system of record for maintaining our contact lists, and marketing preferences.
ZMP First Impressions
What do you like best about the product?
The Subject Line Ai grading and generating tool is my favourite usage of time on ZMP.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't seem clear enough on how to review campaign's performance. Ie. Click Rates, Open Rates, Subject Line A/B Testing, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consistency with our trigger and adhoc email campaigns is appreciated.

I like the timely support and proactive flow development.

The UI logs me out after short periods of inactivity.
