What do you like best about the product?
I like how wix offers a lot of designs, is easy/flexible to use and allows integration of 3rd party apps that you can add in.
What do you dislike about the product?
Templates cannot be changed and there's no access to source code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building simple websites. Easy to quickly mock up a site.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think if you need something that is relatively easy to use then use wix. It's very intuitive.
Good Platform for a Quick Website
What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of templates to choose from and even the least techno savvy person can get a site up in a day.
What do you dislike about the product?
For someone who is looking for advance settings, this is not the platform to use. Templates can be too boxy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simple websites for companies nor requiring a lot of pages and information for their customers to interact with them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a cheap option for an initial webpage. It can help you figure our what design and structure you may be looking for in a permanent or future website.

What do you like best about the product?
Wix is the easiest website builder to use. It's literally seamless. Even a beginner doesn't need a tutorial. So easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the way the messages from visitors come through. I wish there was some type of web browser notification or something. The emails continue to get stuck in our spam filter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since we started using Wix, our website more accurately and effectively portrays who we are as a company. Our website is much easier to navigate, and it finally looks good on mobile devices!

Wix keeps things simple. Don't complicate things, and don't worry, Wix will make you look good.

The simplicity and freedom of creative designing.

Certain restrictions and the editor occasionally has issues with crashing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a place to list our services and have them be easily and conveniently requested
Its a very easy to use CMS platform for website functionality
What do you like best about the product?
It offers easy template, and allows you to integrate a lot of options into your website. There are also ways to secure your site, especially to certain users. It's easy to plug in video, webpages and the app store offers a lot of use apps for a website.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little difficult to really dress up a page, the background, footer customization is tricky to use and design.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we are using wix to have a isolated staff intranet page. its great to have documents, calendars being shared, and to use as a portal for training videos and information for staff

if you're looking for a personal website, or even something to create for a business, or for staff this is a easy to use platform.
Easy to use but you'll still be limited
What do you like best about the product?
Reminds me a lot of publisher or word. Making it easy for me to learn how to design my own website. One of the things that I really like about it is that it seems like they have videos on how to do everything and you don't get any mixed reviews or videos of individuals. That can make you very confused at times.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being limited, it's not like Wordpress. I don't like the fact that there is not a hotline where we can contact someone and talk to a live person. Also, you have to wait about 60 days to port in your website. I purchased my website from GODADDY and porting in my website to WIX has taken so long to port over, also I believe they have a fee for connecting your website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems that I feel like I'm solving with WIX is perhaps saving some money by doing my own website and learning the process. It'll make it way easier for me in the future to make any changes that might have to be made. This website makes me feel so free and independent of my own business website decisions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think about how much time you have, if you have a lot of time them you might want to consider something more advance. WIX is for people that don't have much time and are willing to pay a little more. WIX makes it really easy for your to just drag and drop, really similar to WORD and Publisher. The only bad thing is that they don't have a number where you can call 24/7 with any questions that you might have.
Wix is a great starting off point for building a basic website
What do you like best about the product?
Wix has some great templates and designs to get you started. I built a website for my consulting business entirely using Wix, and it turned out professional and nice with nominal investment in the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found Wix to be robust overall. I suppose the one thing I didn't like was the difficulty of combining two templates - basically if you pick one template, you pick everything about it, and it isn't very easy to change font or design without making the template appear undesirable.

Easy to create basic website! Up and running

Wix is an easy out of the box tool if you are looking to build a basic website. I think it is more intuitive than Word Press, but probably has less functionality. Price is great!
Easy to use for portfolio
What do you like best about the product?
The templates are great and totally customizable. They work for what you need!
What do you dislike about the product?
You can fall into a black hole of customization if you're like me and want perfection. Otherwise, the templates are great and versatile for many industries.

Using for portfolio. It's easy to set up your own url, Google ad words, customization.
Wonderful platform & easy to use for anyone wanting to build a website
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use tool allowing for someone with even little knowledge on website building to create something clean and quick. I also like that there are options to personalise your site you build.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it says "wix" on your site, but that's how you "pay" for using the free building option, so that's fair.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building a quick site for someone that doesn't have the money to build a site from scratch. Great for small businesses starting out.
Great website platform for non-coders
What do you like best about the product?
Wix has a very simple platform for anyone to build a website with ease. You don't need to know code or design to build since it has a drag and drop feature on top of the many designs you can pick from.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there isn't much I dislike about Wix. It is simple and easy!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to make my resume online and more graphic for those companies I am applying to.
