Wix can help anyone get a web site up in a short time
What do you like best about the product?
Wix.com offers a great tool to help anyone create a web site in a short amount of time. The free version is impressive and offers a lot of options, templates, and services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wix.com has improved a lot since I first created a web site with it several years ago. There are more features now than before, so I'm even more impressed with it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with several volunteer groups that don't have a marketing budget to create a web site, so Wix.com offers a great option and terrific tools to look professional online.

Jump into the free version to see what you can create! Wix.com has added some even more features that make this product really great.
Templates can be tricky to use/modify
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use templates that are clean and straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
As someone with HTML/web experience, using some of the templates was limiting. Couldn't add forms, integrate with Hubspot easily, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing new site designs quickly without developer intervention.
Really Enjoy Working With WIX
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of design and the modern templates. It's quite easy to use and doesn't require knowledge of HTML. All templates can be made mobile responsive. Depending on which account you purchase, you can have as many pages as possible... this provides a great deal of flexibility. The animation options are good, though could be easily overdone if someone isn't careful :)
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could manipulate the HTML a bit more. It can be tedious to go through each mobile version to make sure each element is translating correctly but it's very important since the majority of our viewers are mobile viewers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to set up a website quickly and easily - Wix allowed us to do that and do it easily. We are able to optimize SEO and integrate our social media. We love that we can easily add in sales and that changing pages isn't a difficult process. It's great that I can create as many pages as I want... this allows me to copy and change the copies but keep the originals until I'm certain I no longer need it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for an option that allows you to manage all elements of HTML, Wix isn't the option for you. However, if you want something that allows you to easily set up a modern design quickly. Be sure to have transparent images prepared so that the backgrounds of your images transfer seemlessly with the backgrounds on your website.
Easy to use web design
What do you like best about the product?
The drag and drop features of WIX allow you to easily add modern looking content to your website. This is crucial for me, since I have no programming background.
What do you dislike about the product?
WIX is lacking features that are seen on other competitors websites. WIX needs to more quickly respond to customer requests for features. These features are what we want before we show off our website to our customers or friends.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using wix as a platform to show off new products with a customer-friendly interface that helps me highlight the features of my products.

It is a great for building a website. I would recommend Wix.
User Friendly Web Design
What do you like best about the product?
Great customer support and easy to use tools to build your own website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes can be a bit clunky with graphics and such. But usually customer support can help to resolve most issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building websites for small businesses and blog pages. Good customer support.

Easy Plug & Play Site Builder
What do you like best about the product?
If time is of the essence and you need to get a site up and underway, Wix is a great plug and play type website builder. It allows a user to choose a pre-built template and allows further customization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a power user, meaning I don't utilize their shopping cart function or any function other than the contact field, so I can't meaningfully add any challenges I have faced there; however, the last time I checked, there wasn't a spell check feature which is a critical function in my opinion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a personally branded site that informs customers of my offerings, portfolio samples, and contact information.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy and very simple to use. I love that there are templates made for you to pick from. There are many features and buttons you can add. It's great for my photography website, I'm very satisfied with Wix
What do you dislike about the product?
I currently do not have any problems with it. Everything is simple to use and east to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems. I like that it has buttons to add appointments for your business and that I can add a pay pal button to my wix website. It makes transactions easier.
My past (and Present) With Wix
What do you like best about the product?
I like the templates, being able to pick one, rip everything out, and start from scratch. I like being able to choose the layout of of the website, and customize it as needed. Wix is very customizable, catering to the needs of myself as well as my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
As much as I love wix, I am not a fan of it on a slower computer. It does tend to freeze, but as most web designers use newer computers this is probably not something the wix team has taken into consideration, When I initially started using wix, I was using a very old desktop, one that had been a birthday present from my grandma, ad wix would freeze constantly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix has made my life far simpler. As an actress, a website is almost as crucial as IMDb, and It is very simple to update as needed.
As a web designer, I'm able to build a site around my clients needs, and modify as needed.

It's so easy to use Wix and design a beautiful custom site without any HTML knowledge.

I wish there were more plugins/apps available to customize/integrate with other email marketing platforms.

Creating a business website without having to hire an expensive web developer.

Definitely give it a shot, especially if you're looking to go the more DIY route for your own website.
