Pretty Websites, Software is Slow to Use
What do you like best about the product?
The designs they offer are clean and neat and I like that they ategorize by industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software is tedious to use compared to others. It seems like you have to jump through hoops to get designs altered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to make my information available to potential customers. I like the contact page features they offer.

I love the widgets and drag and drop functionality.

Mostly informational.
Benefits for the business is the easy of use with out need of a designer.
And the centralized email, subscription service witch is also easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
Wix is so easy to use! The site is intuitive and user-friendly. I like that Wix allowed me to create a unique website that fits my personality and brand. I like that there are templates that I can choose from and then customize to create the look I want that best represents me. The ability to use pictures, audio and video to further customize the experience for visitors to my site is so valuable. It is quick and easy to make updates to my page for new news, photos or videos. And it is so affordable! I am able to get a quality site for a fraction of the price of hiring a web designer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! I like everything about my experience with Wix and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs an affordable way to build a custom website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in the performing arts and it is important to have a website that accurately reflects your personality. By creating my own site, I was able to get my name and face out there and have gotten several jobs from visits to my site alone!

Have fun! There is no limit to the customizing you can do with your site.

1. cost of domain - the cost of buying domain is relatively higher compared to other options
2. themes - I think they can add more options in the themes
3. analytics integration -the integration with Google analytics is there, but not very easy to use and intuitive for non-tech users

I used wix for my personal website to be used in my resume.

1. You can try it out for sure. If it doesn't serve your purpose, you can deactivate your account anytime
2. If you are a heavy and demanding user, it's recommended to create your own website and use web hosting services to host your website and procure domain

Wix is great for independent workers!
What do you like best about the product?
Wix offers a wide variety of customizations in their website templates. You can add animations to text as well as different third party applications. If you chose to sign up for the free version only, there will only be a few Wix ads on your site, similar to other competitors. The layout is clean and I have had no issues teaching some clients how to use Wix.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you want to put a blog on your Wix site, you may be short out of luck. You can't optimize the blog for SEO or customize certain aspects of it. For people using Wix for other purposes, this con can be avoided.

When creating a website for a client, Wix offers a fast and easy way to design a template. It is great for modeling potential layouts and creating a crisp-looking design.

Wix frequently adds new tools and 3rd party applications on a regular basis. Check back frequently to see if something you are looking for is added!

Very handy and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple to use, has great design templates and at the same time very powerful in its feature set. I've put together 5 sites using Wix and for smaller, uncomplicated sites it's a dream to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can sometimes get a little confusing to know where you are and how to get back to where you were but no worse than other SaaS tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Speed, ease of use. And all at a very good price. Three of the five sites I've done would have been VERY hard and expensive to do in other ways
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't be afraid to have a play around. And finish building your site before you start setting up the DNS records etc as it's fiddly to change after the fact

What do you like best about the product?
I love how user-friendly Wix is. It is simple enough to figure out how to use even for those who may be technologically challenged. My current favorite are the parallex which I use on my website, they make it more modern and eye-pleasing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like how you cannot see how many visitors you have had in a day/week/month or where they're from. I like seeing statistics and knowing how engaging my website is for my audience. It would be nice to see which pages get the most clicks, and which the least, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm learning what prices and things I need to offer for my different wedding collections. The benefits that I have found is that I do market well, part of which includes my website (it gets wonderful reviews from those who mention it to me).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend Wix! However if you are wanting to use a platform that will give you statistics for your site then this is not the platform to use. Other than that, it is very user-friendly with beautiful elements that you can easily plug in wherever you want. They have great starting templates but it's easy to change them around to suit your own personality and business look.

The amount of templates, the idea of freedom to create, stable platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It should be easier to create things from scratch. I like the idea of creative freedom, but I have used it and I see that there are many bugs. This makes me not like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped me to create a web site for a family, but in the end had many little mistakes that made us to stop using it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easier to apply custom designs. Have a more friendly operation for designers without knowledge development.

What do you like best about the product?
Website publishing options. It's really easy to use and looks really professional. Can be done by anyone and still be presentable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not many unique website choices. There should be a choice for every kind of template.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better way to communicate information. People find the website to be more aesthetically pleasing.

What do you like best about the product?
Wix is really friendly, you can edit and immediatley upload your website. It is really simple and instructions to properly setup your website are pretty easy. It was my first time doing it and was able to complete it without any issues. Maybe I would suggest adding more variety of templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe they are somewhat limitated and don't cover all the options you would like for a website. It is important that once you buy any package, put a reminder in your calendar as once that time expires, they automatically renew it and charge you the cost. It happened to me once and had to pay one more year because I haven't cancelled the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wanted to open my own business, the tool has all the options. You can use Google analytics, I opened some Zoho email accounts associated to the domain name, I was able to run my business just paying 100 dollars per year.
