Simple website solution
What do you like best about the product?
Wix made it simple to get a non-commerce site launched quickly. If you are looking for ease of implementaiton and maintenance (which is so important and often forgotten) Wix is a great solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Wix offers a variety of options it isn't always intuitive how to integrate them. They could make the templated version have greater capacity for expansion. I'm not sure that the SEO is all that effective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to recommend WordPress but found that it wasn't as simple as non-technical business owners needed it to be. With Wix, if you can use a word processing platform, you can make changes to your website. It's that simple.

Have Used Wix For Years & Watched It Outpace Competition
What do you like best about the product?
I've designed about two dozen websites for clients using Wix. Very easy to use. Templates are excellent. New features are cutting edge. Customer service is a bit more difficult to reach, but once you've got them, they are top-notch. Shop app is more than adequate. Follow up features and automations are more than adequate. Very satisfied. I use it basically every day. Integrations with other software programs seems adequate so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I want to do something a little tricky so I have to use YouTube to find someone who can show me how, but that's not really a huge issue. I don't like that you have to purchase a premium package in order to point the domain to one you might have purchased on GoDaddy or somewhere else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily create sharp websites to meet needs of clients, ranging from Higher Ed to non-profits to small businesses.
Wix continues to improve exponentially
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use! What takes hours in other platforms, is mere minutes in Wix. i.e. Animations, integrations, transitions)... transfering a paid website rights between differnt designs, and much functionality other sites do not offer,
What do you dislike about the product?
UX is not consistent throughout the experience.... foir example type styling and theme management. They appear in different manner, and with different options (i.e. sometimes you can modify font weight or size, but sometimes you can only use pre-exiting styles).
Also, the canned animations sometimes miss important properties (for example, the ability to change a logo on a moving top menu (important, as menu can shift from transparent to solid color and logo needs to turn negative, or be smaller).
Another pet peeve is the limited site versioning, and the confusing internal staging, the inability for an agency to duplicate sites for a customer, an a few other UX incositencies throughout.
Despite offering a pretty robust user management dashborad, they should also shift to collaborative design (like Webflow, Figma, and others) where you can leave comments on parts of the site to other editiors and designers.

Super easy modular web design, yet with enough options to feel bespoke.

What do you like best about the product?
Caters to a wide range of users, from beginners to more experienced designers. Its drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to create websites without needing to know how to code.
What do you dislike about the product?
Advanced SEO features are lacking compared to other platforms.

Wix has an extensive collection of templates that helps users kickstart their website design. These templates are customizable, allowing us to personalize and match our brand / style.
Drag and Drop Website
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is you don't have to code anything in order to create a website, just drag and drop the widgets from ton of template options.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing would be that once you make the website live you cannot change the template again which is a limitation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps creating and designing a website from scratch within couple of hours rather than waiting to get developed.

What do you like best about the product?
Wix's design flexibility is a game-changer. With a plethora of customizable templates and the ability to tweak every detail, I could create a website that truly represented my unique style and brand.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Wix provides a mobile editor for optimizing your site for mobile devices, it is less flexible compared to the desktop editor, potentially affecting the mobile user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform's hosting services and built-in security features have alleviated concerns about technical aspects, allowing me to focus more on the content and goals of my website. In essence, Wix has made the process of building and managing my website not only accessible but also an enjoyable and efficient experience.

What do you like best about the product?
Wix enables business owners, organisations, and other individuals irrespective of their experience with website design to create websites for their business and various other projects. Designing the website is simple. And the wix website design tool enables one to customise, update,and upgrade, the website at any point in the design process using an owner application tool which is available for most devices. This gives the developer full access and control of their website
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a challenge to get into contact with customer support in the event that it is required, making challenges more difficult to resolve. I feel that the company could provide more personalized customer service that is more readily available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix is enabling me to market my business on an exponentially larger scale,as well as to make it possible to liaise more closely with customers, giving me a better idea of the kind service customers require. This has increased customer satisfaction greatly, and I have also gained new customers.

Best Ecommmerce Website solution in the market
What do you like best about the product?
There is no other platform that can match the beauty, ease of use and customer support and feature-rich interface that wix provides. This is what powers my dropshipping site
What do you dislike about the product?
The apps are not usable in all countries. mostly geared towards the US market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Large collection of user-built apps and integrations that can't be found in any other web platform. This delivers beyond expectations
wix is a great website host but not great to solely host a fitness platform

the marketing and design of wix are great. web design is very user friendly
What do you dislike about the product?
downsides of wix is that it doesn't host a payment processor like authorize.net for my international business. booking software also just doesn't quite cut it for a fitness // yoga business. the customer service is also lacking and frustrating
