What Works—and What Doesn’t
What do you like best about the product?
Wix Studio makes it easy for newcomers to design clean, modern, and animated websites that truly stand out. As a certified Velo expert, I’ve found the Velo interface an enjoyable, beginner-friendly way to learn and use JavaScript right inside the Wix Code environment. Wix’s support team is responsive, and the platform is straightforward to master if you’re willing to explore its tools. With a robust plugin ecosystem and extensive customization, clients can update their sites themselves—no developer required.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love the speed of building, but Wix Studio can feel restrictive for advanced dev work—limited low-level code control, versioning, and some API constraints make complex integrations harder than they should be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix Studio solves speed-to-market and tool sprawl. With an integrated CMS, visual editor, and Velo for custom logic, I can design, connect data, and code in one place—no juggling plugins, servers, or deploy scripts. Built-ins like Members, Stores, Bookings, Automations, and triggered emails cover 80% of common needs, while Velo handles the rest. The result: quicker launches, fewer breakages, and clients who can self-edit without calling a developer.

What do you like best about the product?
After many years working with Wix, I can truly say that being part of the Wix Studio Certified Partner community has been an incredible experience. With this program, you don’t feel like just a freelancer working alone trying to get clients, you feel part of something bigger. The community of experts is always there to exchange feedback, share insights, and stay up to date with the latest trends and updates from Wix. I’m very happy to be part of the Certified Partners program and look forward to continuing this journey with Wix.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, I love everything! It is the most user-friendly web design tool there is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix is constantly looking for new trends and new techs, now they are integrating lots of AI solutions embed into their systems
Wix Studio is Our Default Offering
What do you like best about the product?
It gives us WAY more control over our designs we make for clients. Whenever a client requests a Wix site, and in many cases where a client doesn't have a preferred CMS, Wix Studio is the default recommendation.
Our reason is twofold:
1) Wix gives our technical team members (designers and developers) full control over the look & feel + lets us build very complex, custom-coded projects;
2) All while making ongoing management of the site on the admin side incredibly easy--even for the most non-technical clients. Content mode in particular is makes updating the site simple and prevents them from breaking the designs/responsiveness we create.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's a relatively new offering, and is not without its bugs. We'll see odd cases where we encounter a bug here and there with design or when working with Wix's APIs, but the counterpoint to this is that we're often able to get a hold of support right away who has been quick to implement fixes--sometimes at the product-wide level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We build client website projects, ranging from simpler display sites to more complex technical solutions.
The best place for design innovating web sites
What do you like best about the product?
The drop and drag system is a excellent tool for the designers that don't have a lot of experience in dev language but also have a special tools for the experts in development web apps and ui/Ux web design.
What do you dislike about the product?
i don't have bad comments about the Wix Studio but I can give a recommendation about its apps, maybe they can be more open to work with other integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Wix Studio for design e-commerce platforms, landing pages and coporative web sites for my clientes. With Wix Studio y optimize all my time and I can do web sites with high quality in less time.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Wix Studio is its ease of use combined with the cutting-edge technology it offers. Additionally, its constant evolution and technological innovation allow us to deliver increasingly comprehensive and effective solutions to our clients. It has a complete ecosystem; more than just a website, it is a whole digital ecosystem that helps websites grow and easily integrates with Google's SEO.
What do you dislike about the product?
For now, I don't find any disadvantages; however, like any technological platform, it must stay at the forefront to continue growing and keeping up with current technologies. Something that should be strengthened is the integrations with other platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For many companies and entrepreneurs, it is the platform that allows the user to do it themselves and enables autonomy. The other thing is that it is an easy-to-use technology, which helps to grow very quickly and approach cutting-edge technology in a friendly and easy way.

Well.. some years ago we need to use Elementor and Wix Studio was MUCH BETTER to me!

Intuitive Tool, Fundamental for Agencies
What do you like best about the product?
I find that Wix Studio is incredibly intuitive and easy to use, which is a great benefit for our website development process. I like that it allows us to generate websites more efficiently for our clients and as an agency. I also appreciate the features and capabilities it offers, which make project management easier for both our clients and us, allowing us to scale our services. Being part of a Wix Partner agency, I am completely convinced of this product.

It's not negative, but it is a real difficulty, because it's something very new and unknown in more traditional development environments.

Wix Studio is solving the challenge of building highly customized, professional websites and web applications without the limitations of traditional no-code platforms. It combines design flexibility with advanced development tools like Velo, enabling me to create fully tailored solutions that go far beyond standard websites.

A low code app development platform that stays in sync with the trends
What do you like best about the product?
Its low/no code app development solution is a blessing. They do everything it takes to offer the best and most uptodate optimization methods, covering SEO, UX, Database, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
They introduce new tools, APIs, etc faster than you can imagine. Sometimes I want to say "Please stop for a while and let me think" :)

What do you like best about the product?
Wix Studio is a game changer. The combination of Rive animations, smooth transitions, and intuitive section/padding controls makes building websites effortless and visually impressive—without touching code. I love that it’s not just a design tool but also a complete business solution. Invoices, email marketing, social media management, blogging, and analytics are all built in. This makes it easy for clients—especially those who aren’t tech-savvy—to run and grow their business from a single platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because the platform is so feature-rich, there’s a bit of a learning curve for beginners. Also, some very advanced customizations still require workarounds. That said, once you get familiar with it, the advantages far outweigh the downsides.

Wix Studio allows us to design and launch professional websites without needing to rely on coding or external developers. It saves significant time by combining design, content management, and business tools in one place.
