Data and results are protected by password. It's a good solution for sharing analytic environment between a small group of co-workers working on the same internal projects.

I have been using this image for about a year now, in various versions. Their support is first rate, and friendly. It saved me a lot of time from having to configure and manage aspects of my system, such as the graphical interface, that prior to this, were minor projects on their own. It gives me everything I need to do machine learning, as well. But it's also my daily desktop. Yes,you might be able to do this in your own, but why, when they've covered all the bases for you.
