What do you like best about the product?

I like how easy it is to use. The AI features make it so quick and easy to create content and the translations and dubbing are great. I also appreciate the support from the support team, they are quick and very helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?

I don't dislike anything about it. The only thing I would change is the dubbing credits system, but I understand why it works like that.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed our content to be accessible by employees with different languages, which Synthesia has made super easy.

It makes creating videos very easy, even without editing skills. The avatars look professional, and turning text into videos saves a lot of time. It’s useful for training, presentations, and quick content creation.

Some avatars and voice styles can feel a bit robotic at times. Customization is also limited in a few areas, especially if you want more creative control over the videos.

It helps create videos without needing a camera, studio, or full editing setup. This saves time and reduces production costs. It’s especially helpful for making training videos and simple explainer content quickly.

Some of the UX need to be more refined, for example mapping where an object appears in the shot and leaves the shot, or mapping the timeline with the script. It can be frustrating to make an avatar say a word a certain way, but can never get it right.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It creates videos automatically without the speaker record themselves for the whole thing. And it translates in minutes.

What do you like best about the product?

I like that Synthesia does not require professional editing knowledge, making it easy to edit and create presentation videos. The platform is very simple and easy to navigate. It helps build AI avatars to create talking head infographic videos and offers various voice-over artists to record audio. The fact that real human talking head translation is pre-recorded is helpful too. I find it to be a very efficient tool in the market right now.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes the AI avatar doesn't feel natural. The animations are limited and basic. Only one person can be present in a two-person scenario at this time.

the pricing is slightly high for someone to try the n product for the first time and adopt

it is eliminating dependency on actors, mic , time and expertise for editing by leveraging AI. now video making has become not juat easy but high quality and less time taking

What I like best is the incredible realism of the AI avatars and their natural voice modulations. It makes video creation look highly professional without needing a camera or a studio.

While the avatars look great, their body language and hand gestures can sometimes feel a bit rigid or repetitive during longer videos, which slightly reduces the overall natural feel.

Synthesia solves the bottleneck of traditional video production, which requires expensive cameras, actors, and long editing hours. It benefits me by allowing the creation of high-quality training and educational videos in minutes, directly from text scripts, which significantly cuts down our budget and time-to-market.

I use Synthesia for creating learning content like case studies and interactive branching scenarios, which provides a level of detail. It allows me to create better interactive experiences that would otherwise just be text-based. I like the easy, familiar customization on all features and the layout that feels like PowerPoint, keeping it familiar. The initial setup was simple and straightforward as well.

The voice cloning feature did not sound like me

I use Synthesia to localize a lot of different content for private training. I appreciate that it allows me to quickly update content across a range of languages without needing to wait for people to actually create the content. I find it easy to use and practical. I value the video creation tool and the avatar language feature. The initial setup was very simple for me and my team.

Maybe it's AI video still look a bit computer and robotic to me.

What do you like best about the product?

I created a 20-minute video for higher education with my AI Avatar, and in very little time, Synthesia took my Google Slides and turned them into magic. It solved the problem of providing professional quality video content that I could share easily and also helped with my nervous public speaking issues. I learned how to use the platform quickly, in just 2 days, with assistance from the Synthesia team. I like the ease of use, the tech support was GREAT, and the ability to download an existing boring PowerPoint into the system and make it into something truly impressive. The initial setup was very easy.

What do you dislike about the product?

There were some issues at the start, where I wasted tokens because I didn't know that hitting generate would eat away at my account balance. That was really frustrating. Also, my Avatar's arms were strange and transparent on several screens. Lastly, the pronunciation of words was off quite a bit, and I had to spend a ton of time writing out what to say in a phonetically correct way. But the biggest issue is that our nation has low quality broadband. So even after I did all this work, I could not get the video to play in a suitable way via Zoom or even through the link on YouTube. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to play the video at all. Now I'm trying to upload it on LinkedIn and the file is too big to post. I don't blame Synthesia for this, but would have liked to know this stuff before we nearly went live with 1200 participants. I suspect most people have no clue that playing a high quality video is going to be so difficult.

Synthesia transforms my Google Slides into professional video content, solving my public speaking issues and is easy to learn with excellent tech support.

I used Synthesia for creating training videos for B2B purposes. It allows me to create professional training videos with visual content and clear, localized narrations in different languages. I like the function that lets users amend the speed and breaks between lines, making the video more natural and increasing readability. Synthesia is easy to use and doesn't require much setup.
