Synthesia’s Constant Innovation Keeps Our Learning Content Evolving
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Synthesia is always Innovating and iterating on it's tools, to evolve with learning options.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limited licenses is a hurdle with Synthesia.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia is solving the issue of reaching many different learning styles and automating design.

What do you like best about the product?
So easy to use—it’s truly revolutionised the way I create content.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could edit the auto-generated graphics it creates, because sometimes they’re a bit off and could use a quick tweak.

It helps me create more engaging content.

Very easy to use, great tool for AI content creation, has improved a lot over the last year, with constant improvements made by the company.

Small details that are standard in other tools are not yet there in Synthesia (e.g. creating a thumbnail for your video)

Content creation in bulk with localisation
Versatile Avatars, customisation and variables throughout everything
What do you like best about the product?
The avatars, the variety, the variations you can make and the camera angles you can use too. There are so many variables to suit multiple needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The hand gestures sometimes seem too much and sometimes the same avatars will say the same word differently throughout one video

AI avatars, quick video production
Voice Templates & Easy Setup, Intuitive Editing Needed
What do you like best about the product?
I find Synthesia very helpful because we used it to create videos explaining the new software to our Truck Repair Center's team, which sped up our process significantly. I really appreciate the voice templates because we didn't have to record our own voices, making it much quicker to create content. The easy-to-use screen recorder, which is a Chrome plugin, is also great as it was simple to install and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing videos could be a little bit more intuitive. When we first opened a panel, we were lost. It took time to get used to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia to create instructional videos quickly without recording my voice, helping mechanics learn new software faster and get to work more quickly.
Versatile Tools and Avatars for Engaging Training Videos
What do you like best about the product?
It provides a variety of tools and avatars that help me create engaging training content and videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
Video generation takes quite a long time, and sometimes it’s hard to understand how many videos you can create. Since it counts minutes, it’s difficult to predict how long each of your videos will take and, as a result, how many you’ll be able to generate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were creating trainings for company's internal use there, e.g. training on performance review process in company, onboarding video, etc.
Time-Saving API Integration, Effortless Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the API integration with Synthesia because it allows me to generate videos directly from my CRM without having to constantly switch back and forth between different tools. This saves me a lot of time, especially because I move hundreds of truckloads every month and staying within my CRM is more efficient. Also, the initial setup of Synthesia was very intuitive and took just a few minutes. I find it so beneficial that I've even recommended it to friends.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like an option for a flat rate for unlimited minutes or being able to use all 360 minutes in one month and create no extra content for the remaining months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Synthesia to avoid the manual work and need for skills in recording and editing videos. The API integration lets me generate videos directly from my CRM, reducing the need to switch between platforms and saving time.
Good animation quality, but very restrictive for creative content needs

The quality of the animations - because that's what they are - is fantastic.

It's far too restrictive in terms of what it allows you to create and not create.

It does make presentations, welcome documentation and other information more appealling and working on different languages is very useful.
Simplifies Educational Content Creation with Impressive Avatars
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Synthesia is consistent and reliable, with amazing pronunciation and stability in gestures and facial expressions. The way the lighting adjusts for the avatars according to the space is impressive. The outfit customization is a great feature, especially since I can keep the brand colors for the outfits and include my brand logo. The matching gestures make the content feel less AI-generated, unlike previous experiences with other tools. Also, the initial setup of Synthesia was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The credits utilized for voiceovers and avatar generation are the same, which should be improved. If the lip-sync and avatar are not used, then the credits should be used less or can be free. Voiceovers take less server hit compared to avatar generation, so it should take fewer credits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Synthesia, I don't need a studio, presenter, or cinematographer, and I get output in minutes from the script. It's consistent, reliable, and ideal for creating educational content due to accurate gestures and branding options.
High-Quality Video Creation with Excellent Security
What do you like best about the product?
I use Synthesia for creating videos for YouTube tutorials, and it allows me to create videos quickly from a script with customizable avatars. I like that Synthesia is set up for business professionals who value quality and security. The platform's approach to security is impressive, especially when creating a personal avatar as it requires consent using biometrics and a passcode, which is a higher level of security than many other platforms offer. The stock avatars are very high quality, and the lip sync is excellent. I also find that Synthesia’s avatars are of higher quality compared to alternatives like D-ID and Vyond. The initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although they allow you to create customized Veo 3 videos with a particular avatar and background, at this time, that doesn't include voice generated directly from a script. I think adding that feature would be a big improvement.

I use Synthesia to quickly create YouTube tutorial videos from a script. It provides high-quality customizable avatars with excellent lip synchronization and emphasizes security through consent and biometrics.
