What do you like best about the product?

I really like how simple and intuitive Synthesia is. It saves a lot of time and allows us to create high-quality training and presentation videos efficiently

What do you dislike about the product?

While Synthesia saves a lot of time, some AI-generated voices and avatar movements can occasionally feel less natural than traditional video recordings.
The platform works very well, although the pricing can become relatively expensive when producing a larger number of videos or needing advanced features.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Synthesia significantly reduces the time and cost of producing training and instructional videos. We can create and update professional content quickly, making communication and knowledge sharing across the company much more efficient.

What do you like best about the product?

I use Synthesia to create videos on courses, which has made our work more efficient by eliminating the need for individuals to memorize scripts and speak on camera. I like the feature of creating our own Avatars, as it captures a person's likeness and voice, including their accent and tone. The features added to how avatars pose and the scenarios in which they are placed are impressive. I also enjoy the gestures and outfit creation options in avatar creation. Synthesia's initial setup was very easy to understand, allowing me to quickly get into the flow of working.

What do you dislike about the product?

I think more tools are needed when editing the videos. For example, I would like shapes that we can transform or make into any shape we want, AI video generations that are longer than eight seconds, and the ability to allow text to form around shapes. More realistic AI avatars and more motion graphic options are also needed. When personal avatars are shared amongst colleagues, an option to edit the outfit would be helpful. Additionally, the inclusivity of all our official South African languages is important.

I use Synthesia to create videos efficiently without needing people to memorize scripts. It allows easy editing and saves time in video production.

What do you like best about the product?

It’s easy to use, and it makes it simple to duplicate work I’ve already done. I can create consistent videos without much effort, and the avatars look realistic and work well. I particularly like that when I have a script, it automatically maps text to a slide so I don't have to worry about the text on the screen.

What do you dislike about the product?

Personally, I use it with my own scripts, so I do think the AI design is quite limited. The AI supports scripts really well and automatically designs the slides, but the graphics—and its ability to come up with innovative design ideas—aren’t very strong. The templates also tend to end up looking quite similar, so there isn’t much variety overall.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I can quickly turn a script into a usable video. It takes me about 10 minutes to put together a video that would otherwise take over an hour to record. We’re a lean team, so this makes the whole process much faster and helps us get content out more quickly.

expensive. more should be included in basic package. Interactions and role play options. unlimited custom avatars in basic package.

I create training videos for my employees using Synthesia's features. I like how Synthesia expedites the process of creating these videos and supports multiple languages, which is helpful for my team spread across different countries. I appreciate the real-time capabilities and the very good voice quality of Synthesia. The natural-sounding voice is important as it ensures the material doesn't sound fake. Overall, the initial setup was very easy.

What do you dislike about the product?

I would like more controls on the scene generation area so I can create AI videos more easily with more details. I want to set the effort and the temperature of the model when creating videos, so they can be more precise and follow my prompts rather than generating multiple videos to get one that I like.

I use Synthesia to create training videos quickly with AI-generated visuals and multiple language support, effectively conveying ideas to my employees.

What do you like best about the product?

I find Synthesia very easy to follow and get into quickly. Importing a script is very easy, which makes the process smooth. I also appreciate that the support is very good. I like how it allows me to review the video and change or add to the script as I see fit after listening to a preview. I'm quite anxious to continue using more features of the platform, including importing other videos and using PowerPoints.

Sometimes I have trouble getting the avitor to focus straight ahead and not look down

Synthesia makes it simple for me to review videos and change or add to the script as needed after listening to a preview.

What do you like best about the product?

What I like best about Synthesia is how easy it is to get started. The interface is highly intuitive, allowing users to become productive quickly without extensive training. The continuously expanding selection of avatars and voices is another major advantage, and their realism keeps improving.

My personal highlight is the straightforward multilingual translation workflow. Videos can be translated into several languages in parallel while retaining the original layout. Even the text on the slides is translated reliably without disrupting the formatting.

Integration into our learning workflow is also very convenient. Videos can easily be downloaded as MP4 files or exported as SCORM packages for direct import into our LMS.

The overall performance is excellent. Standard videos are generated within minutes, without noticeable bottlenecks. Interactive videos take somewhat longer to generate, but their interactive capabilities take the learning experience to the next level.

For a professional enterprise solution, I consider the pricing appropriate. A particularly valuable advantage is the ability to create videos without a generation limit. Sometimes errors only become apparent after viewing the generated video. With Synthesia, I can simply correct the issue and regenerate the video without having to worry about consuming a limited allowance. This removes a great deal of pressure from the production process and makes iterative improvement much easier.

The support experience is excellent as well. For general questions, the AI support provides fast and professional answers within seconds. If a more specialized issue occurs, the request is reliably escalated to a human support representative, who usually resolves the problem within a few hours. Thank you to the Synthesia team for the outstanding support.

What do you dislike about the product?

Overall, there is very little to criticize about Synthesia. Even when a specific feature is not yet available, a brief exchange with the product development team is often enough to explore a suitable solution. The Synthesia team makes a strong effort to address individual requirements and, where possible, develop missing functionality in a timely manner.

The price may seem relatively high at first. However, considering the wide range of possibilities, extensive feature set, continuous development, and excellent service, I believe the pricing is more than reasonable for a professional enterprise solution.

Overall, I have not encountered any significant drawbacks so far.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Professional video production traditionally requires a significant amount of time, resources, and budget. Before using Synthesia, we were only able to create and maintain professionally produced learning videos to a very limited extent. Even minor updates, such as changes to standards or key figures, required extensive post-production. These edits often resulted in noticeable transitions or inconsistencies within the video.

Synthesia has fundamentally changed this process for us. We can now create a broad range of learning content as professional videos or enrich existing e-learning courses with video elements as part of a mixed multimedia approach. Professional learning videos can be produced within hours instead of days or weeks.

Video maintenance has also become remarkably simple. When information changes, we only need to update the relevant section of the script and regenerate the video. Updates can therefore be implemented within minutes, without any loss of quality, visible transitions, or inconsistencies. This allows us to keep learning content current while significantly reducing the resources required for production and maintenance.

What do you like best about the product?

What I like about Synthesia is the incredible speed with which projects can be completed and the ease of use. I love that they are always innovating with tools to improve the quality of the videos, especially the Motion tool, which I find very valuable because it allows for the creation of incredible variables, making the videos more attractive. Also, the initial setup was very intuitive and simple.

What do you dislike about the product?

I believe that the integration for Bulk could be better. I would like them to improve the creation of videos in bulk.

Synthesia accelerates project creation, making it incredibly fast and easy. I like the constant innovation in its tools, improving the quality of the videos.

What do you like best about the product?

I like Synthesia for its ease of use and new features. The pronunciation and scripting features are helpful, making the narrative for training videos sound more naturalistic. Synthesia also makes it easier to keep up with the different stipulations and change requirements from regulatory bodies.

What do you dislike about the product?

I'm having a lot of challenges with the studio avatar uploads in Synthesia, as sometimes it just doesn't work.

I use Synthesia to produce training videos at scale, which helps in keeping up with regulatory changes easily.

What do you like best about the product?

I think it’s very easy to use and quick to learn. When I need help, I get a fast response from a real person. The product itself feels lifelike and does what it says it does.

What do you dislike about the product?

I think the biggest downside can be the unreliable generate times. Sometimes it's quick and sometimes it is slow. That can be the case for videos of a similar size. On the rare occasion the generation gets stuck at 18% and needs a red-do
