A good tool to create videos for educational needs
What do you like best about the product?
Platform is very robust and smooth. Anyone can sign and start using it. Plus lipsync is the best across all the platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
You cannot add recorded audio files to avatars. You need to generate audio there itself which sometimes cannot create modulations for what you are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Content creation via video is something that saves a lot of clients for us and our clients as well. Using Synthesis and not going for shoots helps us to reduce costs drastically.

I found it recently but could have used it years ago. Very enabling to professional looking video production.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its forcing my messaging to be clearer.
The AI is cool, but its a decent substitution for an editing app
What do you like best about the product?
The intuitiveness of being a video editor and recorder that is browser based. Really easy to make a quick video.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to edit with sometimes, very slow and laggy text generation so if you edit a piece of text, checking it is very difficult. There is also a lack of ability to customize what part of a song I want to play from a sound file and the eye drop tool doesn't work. As a video editing software, very bare bones.

Easier to record tutorial videos without having to edit out stutters or redoing first takes

various speakers and voices, many images and videos. Videos can be translated in any other language which is great.

The service works neatly for me and I don't have anything I dislike.

We are a museum: It is very easy to generate short videos for explaing the many things a museum wants to present.

Using Synthesia is like having a personal video production studio in your pocket. Imagine directing your own quirky cast of AI avatars with just a few clicks. The interface is so intuitive that even your tech-phobic aunt could create a polished video. Plus, the customization options make it a blast to experiment with different styles and voices. It's like playing a game where the end result is a professional-looking video. Synthesia makes video creation easy, engaging, and downright fun!
What do you dislike about the product?
However, while Synthesia's AI avatars are impressively lifelike, they occasionally fall into the uncanny valley. There's a certain charm to their robotic precision, but sometimes they can feel a bit too perfect, lacking the spontaneous quirks that make humans, well, human. And let’s be honest, no amount of AI-generated charm can fully replace the genuine warmth of a real person on camera. So, while Synthesia is a fantastic tool for quick and easy video creation, it’s not without its slightly eerie limitations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia is allowing us to create a hub of video tutorials to train other staff without needing on going in person sessions.
Never had anything like this application...as my grandkids would say "POP THIS IS OFF THE CHAIN"

What do you like best about the product?
Makes video creation super fast and easy, no previous video filming or editing skills required. Great quality videos Get created and are easily editable if something changes. Makes the content more personable by having an Avatar hosting the session.
What do you dislike about the product?
If it's a larger video it can take a while to download but I usually leave it and do another task while waiting. Would be good to be able to do basic edits on a mobile.

Some features are more modern or straightforward to use; layering for animations could be a lot better by adding the ability to work in the layers like PowerPoint, and for more than a few fade-ins and outs, the lack of accessing the layers makes it messy - so you have to be extra careful.
