Excellent workflow, amazing AI
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to write a script and then synchronise screen actions with it, in addition to the amazing AI rendering.
What do you dislike about the product?
The personal avatar does not have the ability to remove the background. This would seem fairly trivial to achieve in the context of such an advanced tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Content creation for an online course. This was proving very difficult and slow using Powerpoint and AI voiceovers. Synthesia has reduce the time required by about 70%

What do you like best about the product?
Creating a video with avatars is very easy. The selection of different models allows you to achieve a harmonious image for various occasions. Choose an avatar, enter text, select a background - done.
And super awesome: They are becoming more and more natural in their expressions.

I would appreciate the possibility to pin the avatars I use more often at the top for quicker access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The videos are quickly created and it is a huge time saver for me to be able to use a human avatar to make content more understandable faster. The brain reacts to it more quickly.
This technology makes designing and editing training video 100x easier!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how I can do everything in Synthesia! All my video files just need to be uploaded once and I don't have to relink clips on my local drive. The Record feature makes screen capturing so much easier and I can instantly integrate and line up my workflow demonstration with the script.
What do you dislike about the product?
The generating time is too long. Sometimes we make edits until the last minute before sharing with our trainees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making edits to videos is so easy with Synthesia. I don't have to rerecord the whole video. When there's many roles in the workflow, the avatars are great to distinguish roles without having to use actual employees.

Ease of use and flexibility of system. Good knowledge base to tap into and helpful support staff.

Originally bought into it to do our company inductions, but quickly realised we can do toolbox talks and a huge amoutn of short traiing videos on it too.
We have been signed up for about a week, in a year I think I will be using it for things I haven't even thought about yet.

Game-Changer for e-Learning
What do you like best about the product?
As an instructional designer, Synthesia allows me to super easily create hyperrealistic AI "talking heads" to accompany training modules, to create scenario-based situations to illustrate a point. They have some really exciting new features as well, like interactive video that is really novel technology--can't wait to try that out! Customer service is responsive and super helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have more options for buying minutes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Typically, if a training had any intro video, it would be very time consuming and expensive, and I still might not get the shots or VO I need. Synthesia eliminates those isues completely.
The not-so-secret weapon to produce videos on demand
What do you like best about the product?
The versatility of how we can use Synthesia in our video editing and creation process is amazing. The fact we can use and leverage AI personas (and even clone ourselves) to create multiple videos for multiple purposes is a great advantage. As more people are consuming different media and more people are watching content over reading it, Synthesia will give an unfair advantage.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wanted to create a Youtube ad. And while I was able to do all the editing I wanted in the video, one thing was missing... I couldn't change the transitions of each slide/scene. So I can't use the video I created for this purpose of running it as an ad, but the easy of use was really good. Plus, the team shared they will add this feature to their roadmap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The speed at which I create videos, including my own face in them.
Great platform and customer support
What do you like best about the product?
It has replaced our costs of filming education programs and editing them. This saves us thousands of dollars are year above and beyond what we spend on the Synthesia license. The platform is also really easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, nothing right now. It has exceeded our expectations in every way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We script our education programs and now we use Synthesia exclusively to create those presentations. It saves us tons of time and money.
Big Fan of Synthesia's AI generated videos
What do you like best about the product?
I am developing an online course for M&E officers working in Tuberculosis programs. The content is pretty dry and techical, so I was so happy to be able to leverage Synthesia to build quick videos to introduce concepts and set up scenarios. It's very easy to use and you can produce pretty professional vidoes in no time. I like the integration with Getty videos - adds professional videos and images at no extra cost. The choices of voice and avatars is extensive. It has really met my needs developing for an international audience. If time and funding allows for it, I can see using it to translate the videos in Russian, Portuguese and French. The savings in cost and time cannot be understated.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I don't have any negative comments about Synthesia because it is meeting my needs. I'm sure there is room for more customization and improvement in adding more gestures and poses, but seems right now it seems to be the market leader.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working in international development, we are always concerned about costs and sustainablity. Creating high quality and multi-lingual videos with Synthesia is a game changer.

I love the interactive AI as well as the branding kit!

They smile too much, haha sometimes the AI are not realistic.

I was able to build out a training that would have taken me weeks in as little as a day.
I find reasons to create content, just so that I can use Synthesia.

The UI is elegant, the workflow logical, and the output can be put to use immediately.
