The app is great but Sales team is uncontactable
What do you like best about the product?
The tool itself is a game changer and provides a Slide-like to make the video with a very natural voice. It is easy to edit the video and choose different avatar
What do you dislike about the product?
The sales team is uncontactable. We have been using the platform for a while, but due to the usage restriction for the current subscription tier, we want to upgrade to the Enterprise Tier. A few other colleges and I have tried to book a demo and write emails several times, but in the end, there was no communication.
So we have no option as we need to use a video synthesis platform to expand our work, so we go with an alternative platform.

Users able to create an interactive video with customised content and reduce the effort for video editing by alot
Excellent value for money and service
What do you like best about the product?
Their customer service are REAL HUMAN HELPERS! The system itself is smooth and powerful, and really we depend on it for everything video. It's easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
That sometimes voices get removed, and when updating the video we cannot use that very voice (Australian English).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making promitional video for our websites.

What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia is easy to use. If I'm not sure how to do something, there are tutorials that I can watch to brush up on my skills. I can take information from a boring PowerPoint and turn it into an interesting video! Since starting to use the software, I use it everyday.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike! Would like shorter processing time... but it isn't that bad of a wait.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to create videos that will act as training for new hires, as well as refresher training for seasoned colleagues. If anything changes, I don't have to record another video, I can simply change a script.

What do you like best about the product?
We have used Synthesia to create videos for our social media posts and the quality is excellent. I had reason to email customer support and the responses were helpful and fast.

Dislike is a strong word. I have "played" around on the site to create our videos.

We use Synthesia to create interesting social media posts and we started using them in email campaigns to our referral partners and clients. People love the videos.

What do you like best about the product?
This product, for a non techie and approacing retirement was so easy to learn and start banging out great video's. So, ease of use, intuative and fast.
I had a small issue and needed support, no body wants to be this guy.
Guess what, a real person answered the chat, they logged in, found the issue, fixed it and then wished me a happy day. What a nice surprise !

I wish I could afford thier Enterprise version, it look very useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I make instruction and training videos, they always need updating and its a pain. Not anymore. its as easy as updaitng a word doc. This makes it easy, fast and as a result I make more money banging out more work. Oh yes.

Synthesia Review: Disappointing Experience and Terrible Pricing Models

I recently tested Synthesia, an AI text-to-video app, for our organization, Goodparty.org. We are not a political party; we help independents run and win in elections. Unfortunately, our experience with Synthesia was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.
We created a simple test video with the following text:

To our dismay, the video was flagged and moderated for "violating their Disinformation & Misinformation: Political Content guidelines." Their message read:
Your video was moderated for violating our Disinformation & Misinformation: Political Content guidelines.
Your content could have been approved if produced with a Webcam or Custom Avatar.
Read the guidelines.
Firstly, our content is not political disinformation or misinformation. We are simply providing tools and support for independent candidates. The moderation decision was baseless and unjustified. When we reached out for clarification, the response was to "read the guidelines," which felt dismissive and unhelpful. We shouldn't have to jump through hoops for our content to be accepted, especially when it adheres to ethical standards and is factually accurate.
Moreover, Synthesia's pricing model is absurdly prohibitive. They charge $89 for just 30 minutes of video, and the prices skyrocket to over $2000 for an enterprise plan. For a service that fails to accurately moderate content and provides such poor customer support, these prices are utterly unjustifiable.
In summary, our experience with Synthesia was marked by poor moderation practices, unhelpful customer support, and outrageous pricing. We expected a smooth, user-friendly experience but instead encountered unnecessary hurdles and exorbitant costs. I cannot recommend Synthesia to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable AI text-to-video solution.

Excellent AI Video Creation
What do you like best about the product?
The voices and gestures make the Avatars more natural, and remove hesitation to publish the videos in a corporate setting.

What do you dislike about the product?
Limitations on features when not paying for an Enterprise license. For a small business, it doesn't make financial sense for such a large license when only 1 or 2 employees will utilize the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia is solving the issue of time with the AI voices. Prior to using synthesia, I had to wait for one of my teammates to find time and a quiet space to record a script for me. Now I can input the script and have the vocals finished right away.

What do you like best about the product?
As a complete novice to any form of video making, Synthesia's software using Avatars was immediately attractive.
Over the 9 months since I signed up, the possibilites have been extended enormously - multiple Avatars in a single scene, hugely improved expressive Avatars and a load of background software improvements. And these improvements will be continuing over the coming months.
Synthesia delivers a working solution to fix my problem that requires little technical ability to get going, freeing me to explore my creativity. Guidance webinars (I prefer not to call them training) are very helpful, but they are guidance and not instruction.
Teh support team are helpful, and can generally get to teh bottom of issue quickly.

Upgrades can be sprung on us with little explanation and no forewarning. Like all AI businesses, they have talked themselves into a need to be seen to be rushing upgrades, sometimes they would do as well to ease the pace and get user input before zooming ahead.

I will be delivering a 4 to 5 hour long Managment Development Programme using Synthesia as teh sole delivery mechanism
