I need the product for marketing reasons and was successful reaching ma expectations
What do you like best about the product?
It helps me to create videos to present them in social media. I used my own avatar as well as pre developed avatars. My experience was self explaining, easy to handle and with short respondance circles. As well a fast respnse due to a problem with a need for support was solved quickly

The lip sync is not optimal but is reaching my expectations

Synthesia gave me amnesia on my lack of video editing skills.
What do you like best about the product?
It was a walk in the park for someone with nil editing skills. Loved all the avatars, voice variations and multi linguistic skills.
Mr.Monte, whom attended my queries while I was stalling,made me love it more.
For me be it a product or service, the support i receive after sales is my top priority, and here Synthesia aced it.
The implementation, and converting videos was an ease.

What do you dislike about the product?
As for me, at the moment I have not faced any downside in regards to Synthesia yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I dont need to fully rely on freelancers on video editing & creation. This experience gives me the basic know how in this niche

Some of the voices does not sound real. Especially in other languages than english.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to edit the script to make last minute changes, or updates at a later date, are so straight forward. Quick, easy and considerably cheaper than using recorded voiceover artists. The broad feature set caters for every need and skill level.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isnt much to dislike. Most of the features that aren't here are under development. It would be useful to be able to create interactive content for LMS use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously used PowerPoint for training materials and the video outputs were not professional enough for external communication. Now we can generate professional looking and sounding content that we are proud to bear our brand and share with our channel partners and community.

Customer friendly, easy to use, I really like the variety of avatars.

It's not that I dislike anything, it's more that I would like to see that one could add more/several avatars to one video. On a personal basis: I live in The Netherlands and I would like to see some more Dutch voices added.

What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia democratizes the creation of higher impact messaging & comms - the kind of product that historically has been the domain of application experts and creative departments. I'm constantly impressed with the quality and speed-to-completion I'm experiencing, using this tool (as someone who doesn't work in the visual design space). The text-to-speech functionality is nothing short of astonishing and the interface provides good flexibility to design (with plenty of pre-built templates available when I'm in a hurry). We've also found the language translation feature to be quite accurate when evaluated by native speakers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Any of our concerns about Synthesia are akin to gnats - nothing significant, and in the time we've been using the tool, we're seeing updates that address them. Avatar motion and context-specific vocal & voice modulation were are largest concerns when we adopted the tool, but a recent update has promise to resolve this. Occasional challenges in getting pronunciation just right on certain words - usually ones that are acronyms or otherwise "outside the dictionary" will crop up, and we know we can take the extra step to get support help. Company support has been extremely helpful so far with pointing toward functionality that resolves any concerns I've/we've had and as we've learned more about the nuances of the tool, the better & faster our outputs have been.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia has upped our game in content creation without having to use internal/external creative resources. Our internal video animation resource is now freed up to focus on other, high-value projects.

The menus are easy regarding Avatar selection, music, backgrounds and media uploads

We are overall very pleased with the product.

Occasionally a video will get tied up due to phoenetics but nothing too serious.

Loading times take a while but the final product is worth the wait.

Saving me time but talking and presenting without making any mistakes. Very professional and its an easier way to help explain my business and what we offer.
Practical and easy-to-handle solution
What do you like best about the product?
It has been a very practical solution for us, the voice tones of the avatars according to the language and even according to the country really adapt to what we have needed. The gestures and articulations of the avatars are good.
What do you dislike about the product?
- It would be ideal to have more avatars in the standard paid version, especially as I feel there are not enough with some Latino features.
- The tones can improve, they still don't sound very natural.

We have not checked if there are collaborator functions, but if there are, they will help us work faster with the team. If not, you can integrate them like when working with Canva and Notion.
