So Many Possibiities!
What do you like best about the product?
We have a niche product line that requires some eduction for first time customers. We had looked at doing explainer videos with actors and with higher production video shoots, but its been out of budget. Within 48 hours of opening our account with Synthesia, we now have amazing explainer videos on all of our product pages. It didn't take very long to get used to the functionality and we found an avatar that was a good match for our brand. This is a game changer for us and we expect to see a lift in conversion. The cost cannot be beat.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a high volume of explainer videos within budget. we had shelved this project prior to finding Synthesia.
User-friendly, simple but powerful
What do you like best about the product?
I like the versatility of the app and the ease of use. You can create and use highly professional videos very quickly. Process them again and again in minutes. The support ist great and all teh people are nice and helpful. I love the certificate and the academy from Synthesia. I use it almost daily and i have almost never any problems. We had an easy star because of the simplicity of intergrating the Programm
What do you dislike about the product?
in german, i have to spell out numbers in order to hear them in German. otherwise it would get an englisch accent even with the german voices. Also the german word "bei"

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to be faster and more efficent in our company because of the time we save with the onboarding videos, with brandvideos, we also do courses in our company. We save time and money, we are reaaly taking adavtage of the usecases it gives us
Great video solution!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can edit a video wiht a couple of keystrokes. Whn you need to make a change to a training video its just too easy. No time in recording studios, just update the script and publish.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like some more Australian accents. It's tricky to find one that sounds perfectly realistic. its fine for training videos, but it could be improved for promotional videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to keep our training resources up to date without havig to hire talent or update voice tracks ourselves.
So Easy to Make Great Content
What do you like best about the product?
Its a very user friendly platform that has many nice features. They are all easy to use. They also provide a training system to teach you how to use it if it is not clear. It is intuitive though.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of my videos did not receive approval and I was niot sure why until I talked to them. There are a lot of rules regarding what they will let you make a video about that I was not aware of. Not a propblem though. Wew can easily make traning videos for most subjects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gave us a solution for replace the basic videos we were previously making with imovie, which were not of the quality we need.
Uplevel video quality for a startup
What do you like best about the product?
As a non designer, I'm able to very quickly create large amounts of video content for our product training site. Prior to using Synthesia, we had a small number of professionally created video's (expensive and outdated by the time they were published), a few other home grown videos of poor quality, and a lot of PDF documents. Now, using Synthesia, I'm able to create very good quality content very quickly. It typically takes me about 30-60 minutes per minute of video content, which includes planning, staging, and screen captures - the built in screen capture feature is awesome!
What do you dislike about the product?
Text to voice and animated avitars only get you so far when it comes to professionalizm, so it is what it is. Even Synthesia doesn't use their own product for their product training videos. A real person is hard to match in a professional video. But that's the trade off, Synthesia is about good and fast and has helped our business tremendously.
Also a nit, for some reason spell check suggestions are disabled when writing text content. I suspect this will get fixed, but it's really the only complaint I have.

They make generating high quality video content attainable by the average person.
Synthesia is an easy to use, intuitive video creation software
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is an intuitive program where I can save hours in producing and creating videos. I love the life-like avatars that are available to use and I like that the templates provided are easy to customize! I also love the screen recording feature. It is simple to sync the screen recording with the voice over! It helps make training videos easy to follow while still being professional looking. Also, the customer support is phenomenal with Synthesia!! They are so responsive and also host webinars frequently to provide updates or general assistance.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't a lot of things to dislike about Synthesia. One thing I hope for are more template varieties in the future, especially ones that are AI Assistant capable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team is very small, so our biggest advantage of using Synthesia is the time-saving aspect. I can create two videos a day from start to finish, including all the production, drafts and back and forth with clients. The amount of videos that we are able to produce using this software is significantly higher than if we were shooting and creating them on our own without the AI generative capabilities of Synthesia.

What do you like best about the product?
It has reduced the amount of time it takes me to create content. I am able to transfer information to our field staff much faster. The content itself is shirt, to the point and entertaining.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had issues with creating our custom avatars. It requires us to spend additional funds to rent equipment to meet the standards expected. I wish this was shared during our initial conversations as we likely woul dnot have proceeded with the custom avatars.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating engaging content which is entertaining and simple to understand. Our workforce tends to avoid completing training as it can be wordy and overwhelming as well as boring. Synthesia has quickly changed this for many of our employees and has created an echo of excitement over whats next for learning and development at our organization. We use Synthesia as additions to out In-Person training, we assign blended learning and have ongoing knowledge based content and skills based content through out LMS system.
Huge Time Saver
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia has helped our organization achieve a greater level of training due to being able to get out training modules in a timely manner. I can show a number of people how to use it and they'd be compotent in it quickly and effectively. I've used it for a number of training modules and the ease of translating it into spanish has been emmense!
What do you dislike about the product?
At times it can be a little slow and getting the video to sync with recordings can be tricky at time. Other than that, it's solid.

Training content creation and saving time and money by not outsourcing it
This AI service is like having your own video wizard.
What do you like best about the product?
AI-generated video and scripts can be created by uploading documents such as PDFs.

The voices and accents don't sound very natural especially the Australian voices available at this moment.

It can summarise and retweak contents for me by generating different scripts and contents while making them into videos to reach more audience.
Amazing personal avatar capability
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia's new personal avatar capability is game changing! I easily created a personal avatar wearing a company polo shirt against an on brand backdrop color. I used the new avatar to make a sample video and showed a close friend. She was convinced it was me! I now make personalized videos for key customers and prospects in minutes.
It is easy to customize Synthesia with our brand identity (colors, fonts, logo). Multiple supported avatars are available, with support for different accents and languages.

What do you dislike about the product?
I had to think carefully about how to blend real video footage with avatar footage, but it was worth the effort and I was pleased with the results.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have studio equipment available, but I travel a lot. Normally, it is problemmatic to film high quality footage whilst on the go, but using the platform, I can quickly get professional results.
