Game Changer, Time Saver
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia saves me and my team so much time. I've already recommended it to friends at two other companies. Being able to draft a script, edit, add visuals, have an avatar read it, record, and export all from one program is amazing!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the avatars' mouth-to-speech matching still leaves something to be desired.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia eliminates silos. I no longer have to create a script in Word, visuals in Power Point, and then read and record the script multiple times myself.
Unbelievable experience
What do you like best about the product?
I can see improvements since 2 years, when I first subscribed to Synthesia. It was good 2 years ago, but the recent amazing achievements are just unbelievable. The expressive avatars, the app itself which is really intuitive and easy to use. Customer support is excellent and quick. It is very easy to create and download. I become more and more familiar and I realize that the app has been designed for users and they know our expectations.
What do you dislike about the product?
few things but maybe an esiest way to find musics and pictures with filters. But this is minor to me as we can make videos quickly. Maybe more templates would be a good thing. I don't think having so many avatars is a good thing, I hope they will concentrate on the current expressive ones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
making tutos, demos and courses for my students
Easy videos
What do you like best about the product?
The ease with which I can narrate a video with or without avatars. It's relatively easy to export and then integrate with other media. Plus, there's no real implementation - just log in and start.
What do you dislike about the product?
The diction for specific words is not as flexible as I'd like. I would also like more options for emphasis on specific words instead of having to switch voice/mood of the avatar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Natural sounding speech and intonation in the latest avatars is a big improvement. It gives me many more (and better) options in my videos for multiple voices/faces/characters.
Nationwide Freight Rates and Other Things.
What do you like best about the product?
I publish the weekly Average Nationwide Freight Rates evey Tuesday on LinkedIn using a single scene with avatar Alex doing the announcing. I get just about 1200 impressions per week with a few likes as well.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to include a sales gif when I use a single scene for product advertising for castlecreekshopping.com but I I can't seem to make them work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have much of a budget and the Synthesia productions I create work well with TicTok and Snapchat ads.
A great service for AI avatars!
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like about Synthesia is they are constantly improving their avatars. They are always adding new ones and improving the ones they already have. The expressive avatars have been a significant step forward on making the voices sound more natural.
Synthesia is also very easy to use. I just paste in the text and add pauses where needed and off to rendering.
The times I have talked to customer support, they have been very responsive and have been able to resolve all my issues so far.

The only downside is it can be a bit costly. 30 per month is big limitation on what I can produce.

Synthesia has allowed us to eliminate having to shoot videos of presenters. I no longer have to travel halfway across the county to get the video I need!

Rarely do I endorse products, but hashtag#synthesiastudio has exceeded my expectations. Tasks that used to demand two full days of concentrated effort can now be accomplished in two hours.

Previously, ideas sometimes got sidelined due to concerns about the effort required versus the ROI. As we collectively experiment with hashtag#AI, it's been inspiring to see how this technology can inject new life into ambitious projects.
Not only has it made me more efficient, but it's also reignited a sense of wonder and a "what if" mentality around pursuing ambitious goals. 🤖

- The latest triggering feature is unpleasant to use now; it feels cumbersome and clunky. It would be appreciated if they could revert to the previous version.
- While the idea of personalized Avatars is intriguing, the current execution falls short. Accessing studios for avatar creation proves inconvenient due to their distance. Providing clearer tech specifications to customers would greatly enhance the experience.
- There are occasions where the expressions or tones of the stock avatars don't align with the intended message. Although substituting words can mitigate this, it's frustrating when seeking a somber tone but receiving an upbeat response.
- The dictation feature is puzzling; lacking explainers or prompts, users are left to guess their way to correct pronunciation. Often, it devolves into random key pressing until an acceptable result is achieved.

The AI Expression of the avatars is amazing!
We've been building our help center courses with this module to make it
more lively for the new employees and it's been doing exactly that.
The navigation is fairly easy to use from a customer's perspective and we're
able to utilize the software regardless of the content we're building.

It's a little slow to work with.
And I have to sift through the video manually just to get to the part where I'm editing.

The uniformity of the voice overs for the learning center is our top issue
which was solved immediately after utilizing the platform.

The best and most realistic AI Videos
What do you like best about the product?
After reviewing Synthesia and other similar services (Heygen) i would say without a doubt that Synthesia is the best and most realistic in producing AI video content, for now. If you're new, they supply a good range of templates to get started quickly and the user interface is easy to master.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only complaint is the amount of minutes per year, it's way to low. For example, it costs £52 per month to generate 30 minutes of video per month (360 minutes per year). It is so easy to waste minutes through mistakes. Synthesia are not alone in this problem.

Great software with massive evolution potential
What do you like best about the product?
The synthesia online video editor is a real charm. Simple yet efficient and allows for flexibility. adding pictures and graphics and videos is easy - animating them is great too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Avatars offer a wide choice, but quality is not always optimum and for corporate it could have a more refined selection of characters - It is very inclusive and gender balanced but some more corporate dressed avatars would be a real plus.
i believe (and hope) that soon we will be able to "create" avatars generated fully by an ai. :-)
One missing option in my opinion s the ability to move objects while they are present on screen, on top of just making them enter and exit the screen. That would be a simple but very useful addition for more dynamism.
On the price side for enterprises, I believe that a price drop will do good as well. But I hope that, with more customers joining, they will be able to make it more affordable.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it possible to create content with a presenter (avatar) that can be edited even at the last minute befor publication where it would have required to otehrwise re-record some parts. It also allows me to choose the voice in line with the avatar, which can be a real plus.
