The best text-to-AI tool I have used
What do you like best about the product?
I spent many hours experimenting with AI text-to-speech tools before settling on Synthesia. Most tools, you can just *tell* that the AI-generated voice isn't as realistic as you would like for whatever purpose you need it for, but Synthesia's is a cut above. Add in the human-like avatars, too, and you have a really compelling product.
What do you dislike about the product?
The membership price is more expensive than other software (no one likes paying more), but ultimately you get what you pay for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For people like me who need to create quick and simple text-to-speech videos for blogs and YouTube, Synthesia makes the process a breeze.

Quite easy to use, a lot of tools and templates

The price, limit in video generation and it's consuming a huge amount of memory, my computer is always going crazy when I launch it

A great way of producing a professional looking training video

I can create a professional video whenever I want to. Easy to edit.

Not too much to dislike,its easy to understand

It solves me from getting in front of the camera and getting in front of the microphone. I don't have to worry about mispronouncing a word or being nervous in front of the microphone or camera

What do you like best about the product?
It is so easy to use and fast. Also being able to use pptx prestentations I already have is awesome .
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the generating of the video gets stuck very long under manual review. Some avators look super fake not all some are also very natural.

My customers don´t like to read long texts about my product , videos are much easier.
Synthesia enables easy video creation but has limited voiceover choices.

Still Learning the Program but it offers great features
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to use AI and Avatar's to develop training programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to have a live account representative to help when needed. Everything is by email unless you meet a minimum spend. Spending what our company invested should still allow an account rep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia is allowing us to translate our written work instructions to online learning videos.
Great AI tool for videos
What do you like best about the product?
We use Synthesia for our in house training material (onboarding, values, HR information and processes). The tool is very user friendly with tins of ready to go templates and voices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were a bit easier to upload our own brand templates

Asa remote company, access to information is crucial. People integrate information differently from one person to the next so having the option to either read a confluence page or watch a 2 minute video is extremely important.
Convenient and Innovative
What do you like best about the product?
Editing and AI are convenient and informative. Very helpful for students to catch up information in easy way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is a bit expensive and taking time to generate the video.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Participants do not like reading so much. Having synthesia to do video learning bites is informative to them than reading a lot of pages. Turning text to speech.
Love the expressive avatars
What do you like best about the product?
The new expressive avatars are amazing. Love them!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have more options even with my plan. Although I love the "high English" accent:), we do need a standard American English and a few more tone options for these avatars.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a really time consuming method of providing informational sessions to prospective students. We used power points and our admission advisor used to go through each slide saying the same thing every day six times a day to each prospective student. We began working on creating our own videos with our admission advisor's voice over--just going over the same slides and repeating the same thing as he used to do during live sessions to help prospective students get some idea prior to the meeting. Then we discovered Synthesia and it was a game changer! Not just in terms of saving time, but the quality and the options for voices and looks of avatars are just amazing. We started to think of those avatars as pretty much members of our team. They do a much better job with presenting and informing than any of us could do, especially during the recording. With Synthesia videos, all of sudden we were able to add so much meaningful and good quality content to our website, to our social media, to our instructional LMS. We also believe that it creates a significant opportunity to manage compliance in terms of consistency and quality of information that we share. We just LOVE it and we hope that it will continue to improve and add more features. But even if stays as is--the most important thing for us is that it maintains a high quality interface in terms of usability and speed of processing. I have also had a pretty good experience lately with live tech support in terms of response time.
