Best AI Video/Avatar Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The avatars and voices/selection are excellent. I also love the clean but powerful UI/editing platform. So easy to use!
What do you dislike about the product?
The integrations could be better (maybe a direct upload to YouTube).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me communicate my service to prospects and customers, which helps me save time by setting expectations with prospects before sales calls. It also helps me to provide educational material for customers.

Synthesia is invaluable for creating e-learning modules with its custom avatars to make it personal, swift video generation, and user-friendly interface. I use the application a lot and appreciate the extensive choices of media from Shutterstock to help enhance creativity. The absence of traditional filming also saves time, allowing AI trainers to flawlessly execute scripts.
In addition, the wide variety of templates and tutorials definitely helped us to get it up and running immediately. It has also been a pleasure liaise with the Synthesia team as they respond promptly and helped us to set up the account with ease. This is indeed a top-tier AI video creation platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
Synthesia's drawbacks include high cost, limitations like one avatar per screen and lack of a zoom in feature for the screen recording. The application is also resource-intensive, causing the computer to lag when editing. Despite these, it's generally excellent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to create e-learning modules for our company swiftly with the use of AI avatars and reduces the time needed compared to if we were to conduct physical training or film trainers for each topic.

Quick and effective video creation
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive platform. Great avatar choices. Good voice selection. The ability to customize or even clone avatars. Allows you to add pauses and adjust pronunciations, simple special effects and music. All in all a great synthetic video tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
The basic plan minutes are limited and you are charged full minutage for republishing even the inevitable post publishing edits. They offer a free preview but there are usually improvements to be made once you see a video 'live'. Customer support can be patchy.

It provides me with a team of spokespeople. However, having created a number of videos I realize their limitations and will be testing a clone approach next.
Using Synthesia for human risk management
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia gives us the ability to talk/ educate / connect with colleagues around the world in their language with an avatar they can relate to. It enables us to break away 'One Size' fits all sheep dipping, and connect on a more personal level and therefore be more effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not having local / regional accents limits the relevancy. i.e. northern English accents rather than just standard English.

we are trying to get away from 'one size fits' all training and risk remediation. Synthesia allows us to create role and location specific content, at scale.
Best for making marketing/educational videos
What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Synthesia for over 4 months now. It's been a life-changing experience. We have been able to create marketing and educational videos faster than ever. We have also tried heygen.com. Although there are some features that Heygen is better at, we find Synthesia to be much easier to use compared to Heygen.

So far so good, there's nothing to dislike about.

It would be good to have the option to zoom in on the space where the video is edited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia solves a critical problem in the case of educational videos. It is very common for an expert in a certain discipline to be able to perform well in front of their students in class, but when you put them in front of a camera, something happens that disables them, makes them rigid and even clumsy at teaching. With Synthesia's Avatars, this problem is overcome!
