Easy tool for training videos
What do you like best about the product?
The FOCA training helped me by writing and designing more to-the-point video instructions. The avatars are great 'talking heads' replacing real exisiting brand ambassadors. The tool is easy to use and you quickly learn how to write texts and interactions in the video. The new AI tool helps to write creative texts, intros and funny remarks to juice it up. I am also fond about the integration of the multimedia repository (Shutterstock images and videos).
What do you dislike about the product?
As a starter it would be nice if the pricing model and user plan would save up 'unused' minutes for generating videos. In thay way you can save up your generation time for when a project is due. It would be an extra service, without increasing the set minutes per plan.
I would like to see more native speaker languages (especially in Dutch) to make the videos more authentic.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the issues around image rights of staff employees once they are used as company ambassadors in video instructions or communications.
It helps also to create great introduction videos to other content in our training academy.

You can ceate studio-quality videos with AI avatars and voiceovers in so many languages. It’s as easy as making a slide deck!

It's not perfect but it's still incredible tech!

Easy to create base on available templates. I could find the correct voice to my message.

I couldn't increase the agiilty to trasmit the message. Sometimes I needed more speed to incorporate more words per minute

What do you like best about the product?
I spent many hours experimenting with AI text-to-speech tools before settling on Synthesia. Most tools, you can just *tell* that the AI-generated voice isn't as realistic as you would like for whatever purpose you need it for, but Synthesia's is a cut above. Add in the human-like avatars, too, and you have a really compelling product.
What do you dislike about the product?
The membership price is more expensive than other software (no one likes paying more), but ultimately you get what you pay for.

For people like me who need to create quick and simple text-to-speech videos for blogs and YouTube, Synthesia makes the process a breeze.

It solves me from getting in front of the camera and getting in front of the microphone. I don't have to worry about mispronouncing a word or being nervous in front of the microphone or camera

It is so easy to use and fast. Also being able to use pptx prestentations I already have is awesome .

Sometimes the generating of the video gets stuck very long under manual review. Some avators look super fake not all some are also very natural.

My customers don´t like to read long texts about my product , videos are much easier.

Still Learning the Program but it offers great features

The ability to use AI and Avatar's to develop training programs.

Not being able to have a live account representative to help when needed. Everything is by email unless you meet a minimum spend. Spending what our company invested should still allow an account rep.
