Fantastic interface and functionality
What do you like best about the product?
I am really impressed by Synthesia. Its avatars are great and it is easy to use. Really great to have the ability to go back and fix things that you did not like about your videos! I love it
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to wait 10 minuts to see how you avatar moves and functions. Also, if you want to change something with a film you have to do the whole rendering all over. Also, there is just a limited number of gestures available. I hope that this will improve in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Doing instructional videos where I do not have to do the voice over.

I love that I can drop a script into Synthesia and it will auto generate a video for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
On occasion words that are said correctly most of the time have issues and I have to use diction to trial and error getting the word right. A good example of this is the word YouTube.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to spend hours just getting my voice to sound right on a video. One clear of the throat and I had more editing to do. If the lighting was wrong, I had to reshoot the video. Synthesia allows me to use AI voice and Al avatars and saves me tons of time.

What do you like best about the product?
It represents a quite easy to use tool for video production and experiment with its possibilities. I use it on a weekly basis. Customer support is very sofisticated and above all worth of praise.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it is quite an elaborete tool for video editing, it could use more features for sound editing and editing of the imported materials (like imported video material ... maybe consider plugins). Optimisation of the animation features would also be welcome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It offers quick and easy creation of video content featuring a presentator or a voiceover.

Using Synthesia as an Education Tool.
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Synthesia since January 2023. Simply the Convenience and multifunctional aspect of this program. Before Synthesia it took me weeks to compile and Education Video. Now, less than an hour. Easy to operate (took me some time to figure out the functions), I can do multiple different slides to make it interesting for my audience to look at while listening to the information.
What do you dislike about the product?
My knowlodge of Synthesia is literly growing as they add more features. So nothing I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting a knowladgable Educator / Presenter is chalanging. so Synthesia is the perfect solution for me to do lectures to my audience.

What do you like best about the product?
Everyone can use it. It is also newbie friendly, you can create great videos easily because the tools are easy to understand and navigate. I love the zoom in changes you made, it's now easier to see and move medias in every scene.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's sad and really frustrating that sometimes it doesn't save my made changes. I think the scene marker is not that useful because it's inaccurate most of the time. A movable/skipabble timeframe in scene would be usuful (there's something like that when we insert videos in media) with that it's easier to catch the perfect transition. (i have to play the whole scene that is 2 minutes sometimes just to check if the transition is in perfect timing with the script). A layer for objects would also be nice so it's easier to move things around.

Presenting better output. I can now present videos without using my voice or a video of me to present ideas.

Synthesia is simply amazing!
Whether for simple PowerPoint presentations or entire training courses in an LMS.
The results are stunning, and the effort is minimal.
A great feature is the split between an avatar and the multi-language voices. That way you choose one avatar and can make it speak in multiple languages. This is great for the LMS usage!
I'm using it on every project right now, and the large number of different avatars makes it easy to find one for every special need.
Support is fast and very helpful. Same for their great webinars!
And the good thing is they are still evolving it and are making it even more comfortable.
I don't want to miss it anymore!

Right now, avatars in content are still so new that they catch attention.

A convenient and efficient tool for content creation
What do you like best about the product?
The upsides to using Synthesia is that the platform offers a scripting tool as well as voice narration to compliment the avatars. The STUDIO is easy to navigate with all the features easily accessible for use on multiple projects and changes are easy to implement. The library is able to integrate your companies personal branding elements as well as Synthesia's own library of assets. The Synthesia team also regularly check in with you to ensure you have enough support throughout your production.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system does tend to slow down when there are too many elements on a singular project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems Synthesia helps to solve is efficiency as we are a small team that handles multiple projects of the same manner. By using Synthesia we cut down on time spent in meetings as well as time spent writing scripts from scratch as well as creating slide decks from scratch.
Super easy-to-use video creations for novices
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia made my PowerPoint video look elementary. It is so easy to learn. No job-aids needed! The AI-generated video is amazing. A few answers to some questions will generate a good product! I have had fun with changing the avatars and voices. I spent more time thinking about the storyline and messaging than learning the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the few words that the voice does not enunciate well, Synthesia has a feature to spell out how to pronounce the word. I had a hard time figuring out how to write how to pronounce it so the voice would say it correctly. For example, resume was hard for me to get right. Can't really use a synonym, so had to accept a good-enough stance on how it sounded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not a trained instructional designer, however, I have made several short videos to teach people on topics related to career development. I have replaced some old PowerPoint videos. I think employees at my organization would prefer to watch a 1-2 minute video than read a one-pager flyer.
