Really helpful and cost saving measure for training resources
What do you like best about the product?
It runs like PowerPoint in its creation which is extremly helpful to me as a development officer. It is also really cost effective, as a recorded video on one topic would cost hours of development time and the filming/staffing costs, this means we can avoid that well.
What do you dislike about the product?
As it is AI, the voices are understandably slightly robotic. This means I can spot a synthesia video really easily now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a training provider, we want to record trainers explanining content to make our eLearning more accessable and to a more modern standard. Synthesia allows us to do that quickly, and a lot cheaper than it would be. This also means we can create a lot more videos than we originally could, as the cost of synthesia greatly outweighs the cost of recording things ourselves. It has also meant that our eLearning can be more interactive, and we are using synthesia whenever we can.
Small nonprofit makes huge leaps with Synthesia
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia allows our small staff to produce editable training videos that will save us time and resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few modifications to the platform I would like to see, like being able to know when a generated video has been edited, but I foresee Synthesia evolving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We no loonger have to shoot video and edit it.
Does almost everything I need, just missing two or three features.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of adding a live character to a otherwise boring and less intuitive slideshow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that you cannot use a video to add the AI upon, you need to use a pptx format per exemple.

The cost for a custom made voice-over and different actors that would otherwise be needed for a video.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, you can create hgh quality videos quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is limited what you can create, it would be useful if we could turn the characters so they are not only addressing the camera or have two characters interact with each other.

Synthesia creates training videos quickly, the characters make good narrators
High Quality Avatars for GenAI Videos
What do you like best about the product?
Its pretty easy and intuitive to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
The processing time, there is no preview funciton, to see7hear the avatar & the slides interaction.

Explain something more personal, than with ppt Slides.

Synthesia is User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia is set up so that it's easy to use, even for someone with moderate technology skills. The avitars are "real" looking and can share a message in a expertly crafted video, done right in my home!

I wish I had more minutes to make videos each month!

Synthesia has helped us market Maine Adult Education without paying huge amounts to have videos made by marketing agencies.

Excellent support, the best upgrades, and a wide variety of templates.

At the moment, I do not dislike anything.

Number maximum of caracter per slide (5000) well I think it's just me!

Quick, effective and EASY - even for a rookie like me
What do you like best about the product?
The templates serve as a great way to start moving forward with a video project (mine was creating a 57 second commercial video and a pricing description for our website). The new AI assisted video script option is also very useful if you only have a general description of what you want to accomplish in your video. If you are more comfortable writing out the scripts/scenes you want to present, use a template and you'll have your video done in a single sitting. The two reasons I started using Synthesia was the easy template process to make high quality videos and the different voice-over accents I can switch on the fly, so I can make video content for multiple market regions with one tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only way to see how well the 'avatar' facial/mouth movements match up with the audio is to fully generate your video.. which counts against your allotted video generation time per month. I ended up having to generate a video 3 times before I can get the final version, so keep that in mind when trying to optimize your account type vs video generation limits.

Making high quality video creation accessible to someone that doesn't consider themselves a video/marketing wizard.
