What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia was one of the first apps allowing you to create professional video's using AI controlled avatars, and your own picture. We have used it now for several years for creating instruction videos, sometime also for multiple languages - I love the many features in Synthesia, and how it's constantly expanded with new features. I also love that is is easy to use for creating these videos - It's story board is very easy to use, and the number of AI generated avatars is constantly extended. I have used its support a few times, and they have been very helpful - there are lots of good examples and instructions to make you get going quickly. I like that its a web app, so there is nothing to install or implement you your laptop.So far it's the best app in this category I have used.
What do you dislike about the product?
The text-to-voice feature often mispronounce Swedish words

Synthesia makes it possible for me to create professional looking video's in a way I would not been able to do without this app

The platform provides different licensing plans. We have subscribed to their basic plans. They also offer an enterprise plan with unlimited access to all the features. We want an enterprise plan but haven’t received any response from the support team regarding the demo.

I rate Synthesia a ten out of ten. It is a user-friendly tool for producing effective videos.

Easy to use, great functions, all necessary functions are inculded in the personal (limited) lan! Ease of Implementation

German voices need to be trained more, english voice is already great!

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to take a script and create a video with minimal effort. Instead of having to record audio, and sometimes re-record, then edit, I can modify what is on the screen and the audio is generated with a few tweeks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that when importing PowerPoint slides that you could edit the content instead of it being a screenshot, but it is neat to get that option. It was a little challenging finding a voice that could pronounce my company correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia allowed me to create 17 videos in less than two weeks, one being almsot 21 minutes long. recording audio and then editing is so time consuming, I was able to focus on the content on the screen and not on editing the audio!

How has it helped my organization?
The product helps us efficiently in making videos. It is very easy to make changes in the script and works well with other programs as well. We use it in combination with Articulate Storyline. We can create video graphics quickly compared to third-party vendors. It is easy to learn as well.
What is most valuable?
The product’s Avatar feature looks realistic. It offers different voice and graphic options as well. It works efficiently in conjunction with other products.
What needs improvement?
There could be animation features for Avatars. It would help us create cartoon animations using Synthesia instead of Articulate Storyline. Additionally, interactive features still need to be included. The product’s voice diversity is not that good. Sometimes, the standard voice does not match the movement. It needs improvement.

The product is stable. However, they should provide us with a tutorial whenever they make changes to explain how it would affect the overall application.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm a recent user, I’ve been using synthesia for the past 5 months and I find the features and interface incredibly user friendly and intuitive. One of the things I find super useful is the integrations with resources such as shutterstock, articulate 360 or icons8 (which are the ones I use most frequently) It makes the experience much more efficient and time saving. Their educational resources are yet another thing I’ve found quite valuable. That’s actually where I started with my first video.
