Money well spent
What do you like best about the product?
I used ChatGPT to generate the text of the body of a small topic that I wanted to talk about. I use this text to import into Synthesia and from there video is created. This video is short enough to keep the viewers attention but just informative enough to generate further questions or leads through our portal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the voice syncing does not quite line up to the lips. The second challenge is finding the right voice to match the avatar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lead generation and information updates which prompt the viewer to make a further enquiry.

Very easy to use and decent quality outputs in the first attempt

What do you like best about the product?
The ease in which I was able to create training videos by just typing words on a page and having a "person" speak it for me. I was able to create 16 videos in a week!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is the inability to copy an avatar from scene to scene. It should be just a matter of copy/pasting the avatar or an option to use the same avatar in all the scenes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping my team create training videos such as mobile device enrollments, how to videos on the latest collaboration application features, etc.
Super easy
What do you like best about the product?
The AI engine is fairly robust when building scripts. The editing of the scripts is simple. I like the variety of Avatars
What do you dislike about the product?
Downside is the presentation animation is a bit hard to use (versus Canva, Google slides or PPT). Changing all the scenes shoudl automatically update the changed Avatar, not switch back to a default. (small nitpick stuff I know)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having to set up Vimeo or my other video hosting apps to create video based content. Saves time. Plus the AI engine creates a good base narrative in only a few minutes.

What do you like best about the product?
It is incredibly easy to generate a quality video, with a very realistic avatar.

I would like to be able to adjust the gestures more.

Limited resources to create content. Synthesia allows you to rapidly develop the content with a simple script. In a matter of hours you can create and delive professional short messages.

Synthesia can't be beat for a business start-up
What do you like best about the product?
I'm astonished at how easy it is to create dynamic presentations with the 100+ avatars Synthesia offers. PLUS they speak a multitude of languages, with a half dozen inflections ea.
What do you dislike about the product?
The program has sooooo many options for use, but for my purposes, I've only been able to put it to use on my web site. Not being very Social Media savy perhaps one day I can find other uses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of having visitors to my web site read about the products there, I think it is much more dramatic to have a very realistic avatar explain things. I look forward to finding other things to use avatar explanations for in my Relaxed Travelers start-up.
Amazing tool that saves you a lot of time and energy when it comes to making training videos
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia lets you generate training videos quickly and update them without having to start from scratch. The ability to create your own avatar is a very welcome addition.
What do you dislike about the product?
The choice of avatars could be improved, but the possibility of creating your own avatar makes up for this lack of choice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia allows me to generate training videos very quickly, and to update them even faster.
Using Synthesia feels like a guilty pleasure.
What do you like best about the product?
It's incredibly easy to create impressive videos in your language and accent. They even have a Scottish accent! I like using Synthesia because I can be free to express my ideas and knowledge without having to "perform" before camera myself. I suffer from "imposter syndrome" when it comes to performing for video. There are many synthetic actors and templates to get going; if you can type you can generate effective content. It is an efficiency boost.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a smallish business it would be good to have an account that allows team working. This would make it easier for us to separate control of branding from the generation of raw content. I also dislike the fact that I feel guilty about using the product in the first place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickly producing in-depth training videos for internal and external users. It allows us to improve the quality of previously generated content. and qickly generate new content for marketing purposes. The structure allows us to keep "on-brand" very easily.
