Love it
What do you like best about the product?
Consistent updates - When I first began using Synthesia it was a bit clunky and the videos produced reflected that. In the very short time I've been a user, pretty much everything has improved. So much more user friendly and intuitive, and the avatars and animations are fab. My team have commented on how much better my content is now too. The team are super responsive and helpful with all of my questions too (I wouldn't be surprised if they disabled my live chat box with how many questions I ask)
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I find so far are the voices - very limited AU/NZ accents and they all sound too robotic. I also want to see a female avatar in hi vis uniform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training employees that are spread across the state. I no longer send long emails that are disengaging. It brings some of the human element back when sending comms to team that I can't always see face to face.

The variety of voices you have per language.
They're constantly updating the tool, which is great cause it gives you hope that what you feel is lacking they might add it in the future

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could be able to add expressions to the avatars to have a better match with what we're communicating.
For example one time we used a video with avatar and there was an scene in which the avatar was talking about something sad and he was smiling.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the past we had to wait several days for receiving an audio in which we would have a lack in good quality and pronnunciation and with synthesia we are owners of the time
Wow! Training is easy with Synthesia
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia dramatically reduces the time it takes to create training video content for our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mouth of the avatar does not always align with the words being said. It can look choppy at times but overall still great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia saves us time creating video content for or company and allows for captivating and engaging presentations.

Synthesia is very easy to use and intuitive. I have been amazed at all of the options and features offered in the software.

It takes a little while for the videos to generate and if you make a mistake you have to regenerate the video all over again.

I have been looking for a program to make videos for my team and customers.
Fantastic solution to the camera-shy entrepreneur
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia, quite simply allows me to present information without being in front of the screen. Further, the way the Avatars speak elevates the content to a world-class level. I love the diversity of the Avatars to select, allowing me to show our customers we see them and welcome everyone. One last thing, these Avatars are very well syched and way better than anything else on the market that I've tried. The improvements in the last 6-months are huge and provided a great deal of additional functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no Avatars in wheelchairs - we can all do better than this, right? I like to have a broad diversity of Avatars to use. I would also look at rounding out my 40-50-year-olds, women and men who are business people. I use Anton a lot for my courses, because the voice that goes with him is perfect, he has a calming voice and appears gentle which fits my brand. Also, If I submit a video on Sundays, I know I have a longer wait to have it moderated, but Sunday is my busiest day for pumping out videos, so I've changed around my schedule. It would be great to have the Avatars turn their head as part of their gesture repertoire and some hand gestures. I have to say the upgrades and ability to use the product has SO improved!! Very happy and loyal customer here!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't like to be on screen. It is huge plus to find this product, and now I am very adept at creating everything I need for my coursework. As a Canadian, it is important for me to show we are accepting to a wide and diverse population around the world. I like the diversity but encourage you to continue to work on disabled people.
The still need to jump inyo an explainer video from time to time to demonstrate a specific method. There are two things that would improve this problem for me. The first is to have the Avatar turn their head and smile to the left or right, so I can create a video of me being introduced by the Avatar for a nice segue. Hopefully, you guys are looking into how to create fully functioning Avatars that can make simple gestures with their hands (I hope) and then maybe I wouldn't have to do the practical stuff. My birthday is Feb. 1st if you are looking for a launch date - lol!

Easy, high quality videos in no time
What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to use! I am not a creative type at all, and yet I was able to publish my first video in a couple of hours. The interface is very intuitive and the templates are excellent (so you don't have to start from scratch). And of course, their AI avatars are top notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish their pricing had a bit more options (e.g. different tiers of users depending on how much content you need), but I guess that will come over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm an independent consultant and, given that nobody reads blogs anymore, I needed short videos to communicate my expertise, both on my website and on LinkedIn. Synthesia made it very easy for me to generate high quality content quickly.

Limited possibilities to change avatar's expressions/movements. Not possible to have more then 10 slides per video

What do you like best about the product?
Plenty of avatars for every topic you need to cover. Involving avatar gestures and nicely speaking. Studio is better every time. Very good for short video or longer educational scripts.

In my lenguage is just 2 very robotic voices, but I know that we are small country to work on it. For english use is very good.

Very good with content making. I have Lot of unique content on my blog and need to record it to video. For this content creation is Synthesia The Best solution so far.
Wonderful tool with great ROI
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia is very ease to use, and it contains variety of different characters and supports many languages with different accents! Also adding multiple scenes while editing the videos makes it easy to organize large videos
What do you dislike about the product?
Some languages comes with one standard accent. Also downloading multiple videos at the same time is not supported! if I am editing multiple videos I have to download them one by one.
It would be great to make it possible to download voice only as mp3 sound file.

Syntheia is helping me creat videos and voice over in different languages for product training content. Without Syhthesia we would be struggling with long meetings with agencies and high costs!

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most are the gestures. This make the avatars so alive. Much more real.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think you should have more Brazilian voices. My clients ask for different voices, and I don't know what to do. Sometimes I have to use Revoicer app to create other experiences with avatars. But it gives me a lot of extra work.
And it would help if you let us upload a voice to put in some avatar mouth.

I changed all the studio stuff for Synthesia. It's so cheap to use Synthesia instead of shooting. I'm sure the avatars will become much better soon.
