Synthesia is user-friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia has been a user-friendly way for our group to introduce video and audio to text-heavy content. The tutorials are easy to watch if you need them. I jumped in and started creating without watching the starter videos. I really appreciate this platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no way to place emphasis on certain words in your script. Also, because I did not watch the tutorials, I did not realize that you should create a template so that you can edit your videos. I had to recreate vids several times before I figured out how to edit my work. Also, there are not many price points between the individual and the enterprise. I am the only person who creates for our organization which only allows 10 minutes per month. There needs to be a mid-range option between the two.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The need for personal voice over is the greatest benefit. When creating courses with audio, if the narrator leaves the organization, we have to settle with two different voices or search for a similar voice.

What do you like best about the product?
The handling is very simple. The variety of languages and dialects brings a great result. You can link the videos very easily with Videoask. The templates for a quiz are excellently designed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The faces could be a bit more natural. With the beta version, it has already improved a lot with two avatars. In some places, the emphasis at the end of the sentence could be a bit better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The work is very time-saving because you can use an avatar, for example, as a fictional employee. I like to use them very much for information sharing in gathertown.

It is absolutely great to work with the tool. You can try it out for free in advance. The handling is very simple and easy to understand, and should any questions arise, the service team is very quick and helpful to resolve everything quickly.
Synthesia. A must-have tool for creators!
What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use, perfect for video tutorials. I started using Synthesia a few months ago. After a few attempts and with the help of their tutorials, I can now able to create good-looking tutorials in multiple languages almost effortlessly. If you are a creator, you should add Synthesia to your toolkit!

Overall the product is great. I'd love to have more templates or animations ready to use.

You can use better voices from other tools, and then incorporate them into Synthesia.
You can save a lot of money using Synthesia. No need to hire actors or speakers anymore!
What do you like best about the product?
The platform keeps on implementing improvements. When I started with Synthesia (=/-6months ago). I had a lot of frustrations with some of the functionality. A lot of these frustrations are gone now, so that means that they really take fast action on their customer's feedback
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the (older) voices do sound a little weird. Maybe focus more on quality instead of quantity with the voices. Don't get me wrong, asmost of them are exceptionally well done!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me set up a visual support platform for a customer pretty quickly and rather cheap. I also use it for other various random small assignments to help out other customers.

A wonderful alternative to video shooting
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to use, very efficient and covers all the requirements for effective production. It saves us precious time, financial resources and gives us and our clients, more flexibility. Bonus: the API works wonderfully.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that when you order a tailored avatar, you need to pay for it on yearly basis.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The first problem it is solving for us is adding new video sequences after delivery. Whenever a client wanted to add more video sequences, before using Synthesia, we had to shoot again, with all the budget and logistic aspects of it. Now, we can simply go to the platform and build the new sequences from the already existing template.
Another problem was multilingual video training. Before, we had to translate the content, find an actor speaking the right language and shoot each video independantly. Now, we just need to translate the text, Synthesia does the rest!

After multiple benchmarks, it is so far the best tool to easily create deepfake videos.

I don't have any dislikes. I would like to see additional plan options between the basic and the corporate.

Takes Creative Writing to a Whole New Level
What do you like best about the product?
We tried Synthesia after hearing Marc Cuban mention it on Shark Tank, mostly out of curiosity. I assumed it would be just another technological toy that has lots of bells and whistles but does little to actually accomplish anything. WRONG! We use it on a near daily basis for creating sales letter videos. It’s great for the mechanical creation, but even better for the creative writing process. I’ve written six business books, three of which were published by the largest business book publisher in the world. They require each manuscript to be 60,000 words, so I know how to write. But seeing my words come alive with an avatar makes the writing process sooooooooooooo much better than just listening to Microsoft Word read them aloud that I kid my wife about naming our next dog after one of their avatars.
What do you dislike about the product?
I greatly disliked that there was not a way to recover deleted videos, but Synthesia's support team has been listening to their customers and added that feature last month.
