Excellent tool, saves time and represents the 'future' of video content creation.
What do you like best about the product?
Anyone can create a video; however, video editing/tweaking is what takes the most time. Using Synthesia, there is no need to re-record a video to fix mistakes, change messaging, or improve how you said something. It's as easy as editing the text and clicking the Generate button.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more options for pricing; it's either the basic, affordable monthly plan (which is somewhat limited), or the full-boat enterprise plan. Most SaaS companies have pricing tiers that can ramp you into paying more on a monthly basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving the rework of video editing is great, and it gives me time to tweak what I am trying to communicate in the video vs. re-recording / editing / etc. which is what takes most of the time in content creation.

What do you like best about the product?
It is so easy to use, and that is important. Also, they are constantly adding updates which is great. I'm mostly using it to create fun LinkedIn videos because, let's face it - most of those are boring.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had better data analysis tools - especially on the shared link option. But other than that everything is really good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think it is just a fun way to explore how talks generated in chatgpt could be turned into video content rather than just written.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to use Synthesia to make video content and training videos for our team. The voices and how natural the avatars look give us very professional videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is really no downside, and the constant updates and new Avatars allow us to keep making new videos and educational materials for our viewers. The only downside is no community developers that you can hire.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia is helping us create educational and training videos for our teams so we can focus on servicing the clients. The new avatars look more natural and save us hours and thousands of production costs.

Exporting can be faster. The link to "Issues with pronunciation or pauses?" should also be available on the editor page, where you are writing your script.

Smooth, great software for microlearning, elearning lessons, engaging presentations
What do you like best about the product?
I particularly appreciate that Synthesia not only created a Studio tool for presenting Ai characters speaking natural, professional multiple languages; they realized how important was to provide a presentation authoring tool to avoid greenscreening, jumping to other applications, etc. and it's just that easy, with the features provided. Tamplates help a lot, too. Well done!
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not quite sure, but I think that when I generate a video, if I find mistakes, I have however used part of my time/slides budget; A few features (positioning text areas and titles get scrambled when previewing or when generating the video, this happens with some templates. I use the tool for Italian courses, and some word are mispronouced. So, I think that some improvement shall be needed, but currently I had to learn some workarounds.
I would suggest to introduce the possibility to abort the billing of generated videos if I delete them because there's something wrong; or maybe, changing the preview process could help.

I never had to ask for specific support, other than commercial, and they were just great
Good natural voice, good aupport
What do you like best about the product?
Voice sounds good for Dutch. Easy to create the video's with text and pictures. Good support when there are questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Rather would have more than only 10 minutes per month and be able to take them to next month when not used.

What do you like best about the product?
I initially used Synthesia as a part of a suite of design tools which includes: Articulate, Camtasia, Captivate and various editing tools. I came to find that Synthesia was replacing the functionality I most commonly used, and my learners preferred the sleek look and design of this AI over traditional Rise and 360 modules. It is like ChatGPT, mid-journey and other AI tools part of the wave of the future. Instructional designers and presenters should all learn to master it. Companies will save time and money. One person can now perform the job of three and create great content in half the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not perfect. It still needs a sound editor to give you more control over the music and voice volume, especially in the timeline. An easier phonetic translator would provide us with suggestions for mispronounced words. It should also have a SCORM-compatible menu where you can timestamp the timeline and create a table of contents so users can move forward rather than using a scroll bar. There is currently no way of tracking learner abandonment when they leave a video or verification when they complete it. Incorporating the timestamps functionality found in most Youtube videos will strike a chord with users. Also should have a dark feature in the new upgrade panel the white is off-putting and exhaust your eyes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If you are looking for a tool and do not want to go through the trouble of setting up a video, hiring an actor and creating all the elements you need to produce a quality product, then Synthesia is for you.
Synthesia as an automatic YouTuber
What do you like best about the product?
Regarding syntesia I am appreciating the ability to create videos with extremely realistic avatars, one of the most powerful controls I appreciate is the ability to vary the pronunciation of words in cases where the Ai cannot pronounce correctly. I am no longer the age to put a backwards cap on my head and be a youtuber, I already love synthesia and what it can do in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now I would like to see the possibility of exporting video in other formats (e.g., vertical with different aspect ratio) introduced to save additional work on Final Cut, and to give the possibility when importing a video from a powerpoint (keynote in my case) to be able to correct with uploaded images, but keeping the layers so that I can bring the avatar to the foreground and thus position it on the new image as well.

I am using Synthesia to produce promo and explainer videos.

Quick and user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Customer service. Anytime I have a question they try to answer me as soon as possible. Even if it's something technical, the person whom I talked to didn't stop till she got the answer from one of their developers. Also it's very userfriendly so there is not too many things to ask about in terms of usage. It just works!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing really, maybe the only thing that could be done better is to update their API documentation, because that's a bit outdated (through the UI they support way more avatars).

I am an old user; sometimes, it is hard to navigate, like trying to use some of the advanced features. Even watching the tutorial.

For a small business, it provides a manageable solution meaning its pricing. Again the product is a great tool.
