Perfect for 15 minute instructional videos that need updates
What do you like best about the product?
A few years ago I created instructional videos that are about 10 to 15 minutes long. It's been great to be able to easily update the videos over time with changes and not have to re-record everything. A few simple updates to the existing videos, export the new file, and the updated video is complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the API was more developed so that I could create welcome videos for customers via software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to sell complicated items that have involved instructions, directions, and precautions requires a lot of phone interactions because handing many people a PDF just doesn't work. Having these videos explain things with a person talking clearly holds the customers' attention so they get all the information they need. It has saves us countless phone calls and has made customers feel confident in the items they purchase.

If you think it can be helpful, let me assure you, it will far exceed your expectations.
Automated multi-lingual videos for e-learning
What do you like best about the product?
We've started using Synthesia for e-learning content creation in multiple languages. We combine the videos with visual material on Adobe Premiere. This has the best-working automated solution for this purpose.
What do you dislike about the product?
The length of the individual videos could be longer. The mouth movements and voice don't look as natural in every language.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are often small changes to video text content over time in e-learning courses. With human presenters, the changes time time and money. Syntehesia makes these changes fast and affordable.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to mix and match voices with avatars. Simple, low-motion facial and "body acting." High resolution. Green screens well with hair. Good variety of characters. Easy to use UI in studio. Believable facial micromotion - very few "uncanny valley" problems. Remarkable feel. Seems like the best in class technology at the moment.
What do you dislike about the product?
TTS ability to pronounce depends on the voice chosen - correction via markup is hit or miss. Limited emotional range and control (or question/ exclamation intonation). Occasionally disconnected lip motion from voicing. Inability to test avatars with speech without burning minutes in basic studio. Needs more flexibility in basic pricing for small productions. Voices at all different levels of quality. Extensive testing required to see how voices and avatars behave - burning more precious minutes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently pitching narration explainers to a favorite small museum. Basic "studio" has been an affordable way to produce some short demo prototypes. Informal testing showed that visitor engagement improved in exhibits with visible (believable) talking heads even versus human or AI TTS voice-only or just reading exhibit information. We're discovering new novel uses throughout the museum at a relatively low cost compared to hiring/rehiring voice and acting talent and iterating, etc. Amazing (astonishing) quality results in short time - Significantly streamlined and simplifies production (I'm retired - without staff, and my work is generally pro bono for small non-profits - so yes, cost-sensitive :-).

It is easy to use and very advanced. The help is extensive and customer service is great.

I had to work with the pronunciations of a few words, but in the end, it worked fine.

The system is advanced yet easy to use. I would recommend that you give it a try.

From a huge variety of built-in Avatars to a wide array of languages to choose from makes this a perfect utility for people with zero background in graphics, animation, video making, etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
Since this is a cloud-based solution, I felt a few times that there were some very minor delays. The product team must be continuously working on optimizing this wonderful solution.

Best idea for me as a video producer to create content without my face but some personal feeling.

I trust that will be in future some upgrades like two people on one presentation like interview or hand gestures

I can create professional videos from text in 50+ languages. Synthesia saves my time and allows me to publish news faster and more frequently on social networks

It can be a bit long. It is also a bit expensive, but it is worth it
