I never thought it would be so easy to make a professional video!
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the user interface and the very user-friendly platform. But one of the things I like best is how easy it is to create videos in any language. Before, I made simple videos, but I usually ended up spending a lot of money and time before the video was ready. It wasn't worth for me to have a lot of videos produced, even though I wanted to. That pretty much sums up how great Synthesia is by making it all possible. I now create videos for all sorts of things, including video presentations for both internal external communications. Keep up the good work, guys!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I don't like, but one thing I look forward to is when the avatars can make emotions. I know Synthesia is working on that, which is really exciting!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I solve the basic problem of actually making videos that don't take up my time and money. I really feel like this is the future of creating videos. Well done guys!

It is straightforward to create synthetic avatar-based videos. The quality of the video and the text-to-speech output is mind-blowing.

A Simple Yet Very Cost Effective Solution for Producing Videos in Just a Few Clicks
What do you like best about the product?
A friendly user interface makes producing a video a snap. Grap a template, choose your spokesperson, paste in your text, and you are off to the races. Site allows you to produce videos with up with a script up to 3,500 characters. For longer videos download and join your videos together to produce videos with unlimited lengths without losing any quality. They also support many foreign languages, which is a feature I haven't seen elsewhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
You are restricted from using videos for the purpose of advertising (i.e. YouTube ads).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem I have is producing quality voiceovers. You can hire a professional voiceover spokesperson but this takes days and can cost hundreds of dollars. Or you can do it yourself and, in my case for lack of good equipment and a professional sounding voice, quality suffers. Synthesia's a.i. driven technology produces near human voice results which are shockingly realistic. All of this saves time and money.

I highly recommend both for ease of use and affordability.

Since I work on Social Media, Synthesia allows me to humanize my posts without hiring a model or doing it myself.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My only advice is to try matching the voices available with the character, sometimes the voice doesn't go with a face.

What do you like best about the product?
Before we started using Synthesia, we didn't use much video on our website and especially not with presenters. But now we create videos for all kinds of things. By inserting text and creating different visuals, we get a lot of value for the money. I’m still amazed by the technology. We believe in less text and more videos and that's now possible for us considering the economics, time and skills normally required to produce videos. Amazing job guys - really next level!
What do you dislike about the product?
Since I have been using Synthesia, many product updates have arrived. The product itself works really well. Some of the minority languages (like Swedish) don't sound as perfect as the English voice. But that's a minor thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clicking and typing together a video instead of editing it. Example: We used Synthesia to create a chatbot on our website. An avatar that talks to our customers and walks them through our website. I've never thought of video chatbots like this before and I'm really impressed with it. Also, with the video chatbots we converted more visitors into demos. The fact that it is super fast to do and easy to do in multiple languages is just fantastic.

Think about other departments in your company that can benefit from it. For us it started at Product and later became core in Customer Success.
WHY SYNTHESIA IS GRaiT
What do you like best about the product?
What!?! We can now use human-sounding text-to-speech by artificial intelligence, and now ... life-like human avatars speaking whatever you write too? It surely is a wonderful time to be alive to be lucky enough to witness this great, wait ... OUTSTANDING software and all by the miracle of AI technology. I love that with Synthesia you can even clone yourself! And make yourself or an employee say anything you want. It could be you, the CEO, company owner, a marketing creative, maybe you're a freelance artist, creator or performer and want to introduce your website, send video email messages or make intros for your video, or maybe you're a teacher and want to create eLearning courses with a realistic avatar, with an optional green background ready to be made transparent and laid over an image or video. The Synthesia UI is nice and clean, easy to get around and rendering is fast. You can upload another voice optionally for the avatar to speak. I like the best about Synthesia, that it's really easy and affordable to create something in Synthesia, that looks expensive and complicated to people and clients, that's if they can even tell that's it's an avatar speaking.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is difficult because you quickly fall in love with a software like Synthesia but, the things that could be improved would be to have a larger selection of avatars to choose from. And a word about the TTS voice-quality, and this is to all devs of this type of software: please stop including second-rate, so-called 'standard' voices Vs Neural or Wavnet or whatever high quality voices. This practice is letting down your software. So, my point is that the quality of ALL voices DOES matter, a lot, especially for videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well, picture this: I am currently creating an interactive video series [can't reveal the nature of the type yet] that have male and female Synthesia avatars with transparent backgrounds overlaid onto videos, introducing and talking about the videos. I am also making prototypes for an eLearning video course which will feature Synthesia avatars in conversation and narrating stories (the educational potential applications of Sythesia are infinite... which is why we need a greater variety of avatars and good voices, right?).
