Great for training videos!
What do you like best about the product?
We used to hire talent for our training videos. Each time we had to make a change, we had to re-hire talent. We can now re-generate training videos on demand, which means we can deliver our videos faster. We can produce more videos of higher quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Three minor improvements suggested:
- When duplicating, all voices are reset (bug)
- Show speech length on each slide (this would help match video content)
- Allow background videos to be truncated to speech duration for each slide
Otherwise, it's a very polished product!

What do you like best about the product?
I love how simple this tool is to use, and how I can integrate it into other platforms such as Zapier, to include in my automated CRM. It's not only a really fun tool to use, but it's also a game-changer in terms of what it can do for your business. There are so many possibilities! I was also really surprised about how affordable Sythesia is.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't say there were any downsides, other than my own impatience in looking forward to the developments with them making it possible for Zapier to generate personalised avatars using your own face. There's an additional cost for creating your own personalised avatar, but I suppose that's to be expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia does away with needing actors, film crews, and expensive equipment. I can use it to add to the automated emails my clients receive when they sign up with me. Now, my clients also receive a welcome video from me, personally welcoming them aboard, and I don't have to do a thing! I don't need to film an individual video for each new customer, Synthesia does it all for me. This brings a whole new level of professionalism to my business which is just great.

The range of characters and accents available. real-looking people and variations in delivery.
What do you dislike about the product?
A control to vary or at least slow down the delivery would be great. Sometimes the delivery is a little too quick.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Way faster than preparing traditional video - especially if you are not comfortable speaking to camera. Consistent delivery also allows post-production add ons.

Groundbreaking solution, helpful friendly support team. I'm expecting equally significant developments in the future.
Creating personalized videos with Synthesia was definitely a game changer!
What do you like best about the product?
What I liked most was the ability to create personalized videos for event invitations. I've seen the personalization aspect before with text, but never with video and this is just next level. I was super impressed with how good the videos looked and I couldn't really see a difference between the avatar and a real person.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really think of anything bad. I'm pleasantly surprised by the product updates every time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The idea of generating an entire video from the browser seemed unrealistic until I tried it. The potential is huge for creating videos for all types of businesses. Personalized videos are great, but the use cases Synthesia solves with internal communication videos, e-learning videos, video chatbots, etc. are amazing. I look forward to creating more videos in the future!

Go and check them out. It is so easy to create videos; our team and customers enjoy them. Finally, the Synthesia team is also brilliant - happy to help with whatever you need.

What do you like best about the product?
The app is quite impressive, even if still in its early stages - the variety of avatars to choose and text-to-speech options (different accents, tempo, pronunciations, etc.) are amazing. I like that I can send a link to my clients so they can watch, listen and choose their favorite 'actor'. After developing the video, I can enable Share & Duplicate Video and send the link (my source file/work) to the client - another excellent feature!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all writing styles are suitable. In some cases, avatars will struggle with more natural human expressions and intonations, such as irony, sarcasm, joyful exclamations, etc.
With limited online video editing, it falls short for more precise timing of elements, as there's no timeline to work with.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently exploring the possibility of using AI videos for online learning and training. Apart from using expensive alternatives and filming people, this allows for a quick mockup of the learning program and see the results instantly. It certainly works better than using a static photo with a voice-over or animated characters.

Best about Synthesia is that it is a full of possibilities tool for communication and customer experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The editing tools still do not give all the possibilities. You cannot test the video before finalizing it, background photos show sync failures. That reduces the quality of the final product.

We´d like to use Synthesia to resolve direct communication with our clients through our website and other digital communication channels.

It solves the problem of time, since it saves a lot of time in formulating content and correcting errors, improving the quality of our educational content
A great platform with a promising future.
What do you like best about the product?
The drag/drop builder is very helpful. It makes the platform easy for anyone to start making videos, and it got a large feature boost within days of signing up for the platform. The platform is well thought-out and customer support is very responsive. No other platform we've come across has been able to deliver usable AI acted content like this, especially with an intuitive video creator. Translating to different languages is very easy with builder the tool as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love an expanded avatar character library. The more characters, the merrier. Ideally, there would be the same actors in multiple outfits and poses/angles and expressions. Characters would truly appear more human if there were alternate views to their faces and sets of tones and expressions for their voice based on different scenarios.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customers who are on the go, camera-shy, or otherwise unavailable to film can now make human-acted content without any filming or a film-sized budget. We can quickly fill in gaps to more mundane content by adding a human face and voice for delivery, which increases user engagement and retention.
