Synthesia is very user friendly. I chatted with a very knowledgeable rep who answered all of my questions in detail. We will definitely be purchasing their product.

I did not come across any downsides. Synthesia is very user friendly and I would recommend to anyone interested in creating an avatar!

We need a realistic avatar for our training modules and Synthesia is very user friendly.

Still too few possibilities to automate content creation, lacking a function to visualize content in individual scenes (e.g., through diagrams)

Great Marketing Tool for Small Busniness
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia is very easy to use and makes my small business marketing appear as if we have a huge budget.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would be better if you could view what the avatar looks like during the editing process rather than having to generate the full video.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides an inexpensive way to create professional looking marketing and educational videos for my business.

What do you like best about the product?
We looked at a few different products and options before selecting Synthesia. The real value for us came in the cost savings on producing videos for a global market in multiple languages. The text based approach also allows for rapid changes to out scripts without having to head back into the studio to record.
What do you dislike about the product?
A more timeline based UI would be better as elements all just stack up in the workspace making it hard to know what you have there. Also the pricing scheme is not very scalable. If you have a team of people working on your content, the cost can quickly rise to the cost of a full FTE.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a problem of needing to produce videos quickly in multiple languages. This was costly using classic methods, especially when there was rework. Synthesia sped up our process and lowered costs.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to generate high quality videos using a simple script or even upload an existing power point presentation without having to do any editing is fantastic.
The avatars are surprisingly realistic with a wide range to choose from including various voice styles.
The software is so easy to use and you do not need any video edit experience to produce good quality videos.

The software is at for professional looking videos but it is not great if you want to use it for story telling or using highly customised visuals.

I am able to produce multiple, good quality videos, despite having no previous experience in a very short space of time. Using this product is literally saving me many many hours that I can utilise else where.

What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia is incredibly useful for building a modern knowledge base using AI-generated video content. I particularly appreciate how easily you can transform AI-written scripts into engaging, professional-looking videos with human-like avatars. It’s a game-changer for training materials, onboarding videos, or sales enablement content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the AI avatar's pronunciation or intonation isn't perfect for complex or niche terminology, and manual corrections may be needed. Additionally, the platform could benefit from more integrations with external knowledge bases or CMS platforms.

Synthesia helps us produce high-quality video content without needing a camera crew, studio, or presenters. It drastically reduces video production time and costs while allowing for fast iterations and localization. This is especially valuable when building a scalable knowledge base or onboarding process across different markets and teams.

The generation of the video takes too long for me, especially after editing. It is annoying that often language styles simply disappear that one has gotten used to.

Great Experience with Synthesia
What do you like best about the product?
For a video developer who is a beginner, I love all aspects of Synthesia. In particular, I love the fact that I can use Avatars and change up their voices, their word pronunciation, etc. I love having background templates and music to choose from. Also, the AI help to develop or refine the content is very useful. Generally, it is easy to use and implement. I use Synthesia almost daily to develop videos. Thank you.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike too much. I wish, however, to have the drop down option to create videos longer than 5 minutes. This is definitely overcome by the fact that I can go back into the content and revise it. I can also create additional scenes which is extremely easy to do. Also, I can easily integrate this product into other tools I have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The gain I have with Synthesia is that it has a reasonable price point compared to other products. In addition, it helps me save time and money to develop video content through Synthesia.

All is good but I wish I could share source with my coworkers.
