Great Experience with Synthesia
What do you like best about the product?
For a video developer who is a beginner, I love all aspects of Synthesia. In particular, I love the fact that I can use Avatars and change up their voices, their word pronunciation, etc. I love having background templates and music to choose from. Also, the AI help to develop or refine the content is very useful. Generally, it is easy to use and implement. I use Synthesia almost daily to develop videos. Thank you.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike too much. I wish, however, to have the drop down option to create videos longer than 5 minutes. This is definitely overcome by the fact that I can go back into the content and revise it. I can also create additional scenes which is extremely easy to do. Also, I can easily integrate this product into other tools I have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The gain I have with Synthesia is that it has a reasonable price point compared to other products. In addition, it helps me save time and money to develop video content through Synthesia.

All is good but I wish I could share source with my coworkers.

Time. I can create content really fast. The new interactivity is nice.
Moving to the AI Avatar for better accuracy and simpler updates
What do you like best about the product?
Once the script is captured, it is relatively easy to update and produce a new version. Previously we would regularly have to re-record demos because the User Interface had changed slightly, but now we can simply updates the visual or script items and re-render the video.
The avatars are life-like and well spoken, which also improves the clarity and consistency of the spoken word.
Customer support has also been excellent to date when needed.

What do you dislike about the product?
We have had challenges with the help documentation not keeping pace with the features. Having to find settings which are enabled by default to get the desired effect.

Revolutionary Training Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia assists in a much quicker turnaround of bespoke training content for my organisation without losing out on quality and while also saving on cost. This can assist us in making much more engaging content for our teams as opposed to the disconnected off the shelf learning we have been using up to this point.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there were better tools to edit raw videos that I input in (for example to show how a specific process is done) I think it would tick every box.

Some of the newer avatars still look a bit stiff or unnatural—their expressions can feel frozen or robotic at times, which makes the video feel less engaging. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it can be distracting depending on the topic.

It is an easy program to create high-quality web lectures for our university course, in Dutch language.

We haven't found any negative things yet, except the price.

Newbie at AI Videos - Happy..ish
What do you like best about the product?
The tools are awesome, though—AI avatars, easy voiceovers in tons of languages, and cool branding options made my videos look professional without much effort. I love how I can turn text into a polished video, but I wish it was more automated for beginners like me. Still, the more I use it, the easier it gets.
What do you dislike about the product?
I tried Synthesia hoping it would take my project details and automatically create a full video for me. Instead, I had to build each video, add it to the project, and format everything myself, which was a bit frustrating. As a newbie, I found the process less seamless than expected, and it took more time than I’d hoped to get the hang of it.

Great Product that makes my job so much easier
What do you like best about the product?
What I really appreciate the most about Synthesia is the large library of Templates, Voices, Avatars, Media, etc. It allows me to do multiple training courses that have a similar feel but all have something unique. I am able to write my script (sometimes with the help of Synthesia) and then work from there to produce professional lessons in no time. It is quick, user friendly and so incredibly customizable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had more animations. I would love to do more with text and media entering and exiting the screen and at this point, it is limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia allows me to take the information that I bring or that I receive from my clients and turn it quickly into a quality learning situation. When I used the programs in the sat, the process was so much slower and ended up with a product not as nice. The Text to voice aspect of Synthesia has become invaluable as I build my lessons. While I have tried other programs which allowed me to do similar transition to voice, Synthesia is so much easier and continues to improve.

Very good UX/UI. Easy to learn with a logical structure.

Cannot track actual number of subscription minutes.
