Time saver for rapid professional video creation
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia saves our team hours each month. As a hybrid team, cordinating content recording can be challenging, but Synthesia helps to bridge that gap seamlessly. We can now simply start with a script and quickly generate a polished video with voiceover and avatars. We’ve also been impressed by the pace of improvement, especially the ability to generate a personalised avatar using your own voice and camera. It’s a powerful tool that continues to get better.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is some room for improvement in making the avatars and voiceovers appear more natural. I recommend keeping AI avatars in their smaller form factor so they aren't the main focus on screen. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia helps us to create high quality video content quickly and without the need for filming equipment, presenters, or complex editing tools. For our hybrid team, it eliminates the logistical hurdles of recording people in different locations and time zones.
Super cool and super easy!
What do you like best about the product?
I love a lot of things about Synthesia! The AI voices and avatars are fantastic! No more fumbling through speaking a script and having to reshoot the scene! I have used my avatar to quickly recreate internal knowledge sharing videos and no one could tell it was an avatar! Fantastic! The scene based architecture is so easy to use as well. This easy to use and understand model really helps me crank out a ton of content quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not a lot that I dislike. I wish there was a way to capture video out side the browser window and I'd also love to be able to create my own templates for re-use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have worry about stumbling over words any more while reading a script for a video. Just adjust the script -- so cool! Love the personal avatar as well. This also alleviated any performance anxiety/pressure that I feel when I record. I know the avatar will look , act, and sound great!
Good Avitars But Terrible Video Approval System
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia is a is fairly simple to learn and use stock avitars.
What do you dislike about the product?
The process for video approval is incredibly inconsistent and arbitrary, and the support for these issues is all but nonexistent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to produce videos which our clients are more likely to see rather than reading a blog.

I didn't have to utalize it enough in my day to day job to make the subscription feel worth it.

I like the Ai Avatars they look very real.

The editing i had to do to ad my logo, and also as well having to add a code to use the videos because of music copyrights.

Creating trust surrounding the services offered.

Contacting help seems to work very well. It is quick to go from bot to human and the humans help me with the issues. Great customer support.

Some pronunciations are off and it difficult to put in intonation or correct the pronunciation.

The clean designs, layouts, transitions, and the diverse Avatar selection. Synthesia is easy to use, compiling is quick, and overall, the look is clean and professional.

Still needs improvement on the lip syncing, and another level of plans available.

Synthesia has solved the use of hiring voice over systems or actors, and quick access to build multiple types of tutorial videos to guide users on our website.
Efficient Video Creation Made Easy — If You Can Afford It
What do you like best about the product?
I primarily use Synthesia to create training modules for my work. What I appreciate most is how simple and intuitive it is to use — I just input the narration script, and Synthesia generates ready-to-use videos.
I also value the ability to use customized avatars instead of generic ones. While the default avatars are high-quality, having personalized, recognizable faces makes the videos more convincing and engaging.
Additionally, I’ve noticed a clear improvement in the voice quality over time. The narration now sounds much more natural and less robotic, which greatly enhances the overall learning experience.

The main downside is the cost — it’s quite expensive. This is especially noticeable now that many competitors are entering the market and offering similar services, often at more affordable prices.

Synthesia solves the challenge of producing professional training videos quickly and without the need for filming equipment, presenters, or video editing skills. It streamlines the entire video creation process — from script to final product — which saves significant time and resources.

Full control on content generation using useful AI Avatars
What do you like best about the product?
I like the multi lingual support provided on Synthesia. The AI Avatars speech movement matches so well even in regional languages. Seems like magic due to the ease of implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The time constraints of 10 mins and 30mins are very strict. When I m doing the last video, even if I have 7 mins left, I cant generate a 6 min video. I have to ask Support to add 1-2 mins to help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem is the time taken to generate video from Ideation to Production. Since the dependency with an external content creator is not there, I m able to generate my videos at break neck speed and have things in full control with me.
