Porbably the best AI video maker
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, very intuitive. The characters looks good and real. After checking a few tools, I found Synthesia works best.
What do you dislike about the product?
Small stuff, like hiding a scene to see how it looks without it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solves the complexity of video making.
Training Videos made easy!
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia is quick to learn, intuitive and provides a lot of extra features. The Avatars are really very good and look very realistic. Customer Support is awesome!
What do you dislike about the product?
Screen sharing to record a (training) video can be tricky and would like more in the help section on this. Once I figured it out using other help sources, it is now easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia helps by recording my voice and applying an Avatar so speech sounds much better than my own. It makes it easy to update transcript. Also helpful by screen recording within the app.
Synthesia disappointment
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia offers a highly intuitive interface and mind-blowing features for AI-generated video content. I was attracted to the proposition from the get-go, and was not disappointed about it. It remains a good product, don't get me wrong. And I still intend to use it, as it solves crucial problems for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am having a terrible experience with customer support. I needed to produce videos with financial content and was told that I could not use their avatars, for fear that inappropriate content might cause legal action against Synthesia, which I understand. I was therefore told to upgrade to the next pricing tier and create footage to create my own avatar, which I did. Then, upon trying again, I am told that I need to upgrade to yet another tier which, as you may appreciate, was not what I wanted to hear. But hey, so be it. I am told to speak with a sales representative, and I am forwarded to one. About 10 days have passed and after multiplie solicitations, I am still waiting to hear. Not only that, they keep asking me to fill a use-case-related questionnaire (like 'how many users', 'which consumption volume'), which I must have done about 4 times. So clearly they do not keep track of things.
Nothing is forever and I stand ready to withdraw all of the above provided I get an explanation and a way to achieve my experimentation objectives. But as it stands now, it remains a pretty awful experience.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to create high-quality, professional videos without needing a camera, actors, or editing skills. The AI avatars are impressive, the voiceovers are natural, and the interface makes production fast and simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Synthesia is incredibly useful, I’ve found that some avatar gestures and facial expressions can feel a bit limited or repetitive over time. A bit more customization or natural movement would make it even better. Some of the avatars don't blink much!

some of the features were not so easy to find/figure out but it's only when you use the platform for the first time

I can use my AI avatar and make it speak many different languages, the video will be generated in seconds/minutes and I can easily change it or customize it.
Synthesia is Poised to Own the Custom Avatar Market
What do you like best about the product?
As we are providing custom solutions to our clients, we're looking to partner with a company who values their privacy and proprietary brand as much as we do. Synthesia's robust consent requirements make sure our clients are "in the know" with every step of the process, and protects their unique qualities that make their brand. Their customer support is top notch, with a human stepping into the conversation exactly when needed. All of this wrapped up in a platform is incredibly intuitive and makes navigation super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their current minutes limitations on their avatar use is a challenge for us, as we are developing resources for streaming experience, as opposed to fixed video usage. However, they've noted our needs and will keep it as a future feature suggestion, so when the technology is available, they'll be able to meet our need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia has noted how the current "minute limitations" of their service don't quite meet our anticipated need. They have noted our need, and have logged a feature request for future development in this area.
Easy to use, convenient video editing tool.
What do you like best about the product?
There are many things to admire in Synthesia. First of all, it can be used using any device, it doesn't have any hardware requirements, which makes it accessible to a lot of more users. Second, it's super easy to use and the interface is very user friendly which gives the confidence in the users to create and edit videos without getting intimidated. The feature of AI text to speech narration is the standout, it's a huge convenience for users who have issues with narration. The support is great as well, very responsive and very quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
There could be some more features, when compared to other video editing tools. They could also help integrate visual effects for the videos we use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is currently being used by me to create videos for training and in automating presentations.
Fast, Easy, and Perfect for Product and Internal Communications
What do you like best about the product?
Easy of Use and how quickly videos get to 80% done in minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very rarely the results need to be re-rendered but they have so many ways to fix issues it is never a real problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes getting to the final edit so much faster. Which is were all of the other stake holders feel comfortable providing feedback.

What do you like best about the product?
I've used Synthesia and found some real positives. There’s a wide variety of stock material and effects you can mix together, which gives a lot of creative flexibility. While not all avatars are perfect, it's possible to find ones that work well depending on your content. Overall, it's a useful tool when used selectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
Synthesia gets expensive fast, and the pricing model isn’t very transparent — you often don’t realize how much you’re spending until it’s too late. The copy/paste functionality could definitely be improved. Some avatars are very hard to work with, especially when it comes to voice clarity and natural accents. It still feels like a work-in-progress in those areas.

It made it easier to create content on the go, especially for simple explainers or updates. With quick edits and fast rendering, it saved me valuable time in early-stage content creation.

Incredible Company with great customer service
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can upload powerpoints directly or use one of their themes. Everything has been so user friendly so far and I am so glad I went with them to create my online course. Customer service has been really great! In a world of bots, they have live help when you need it.

I have not found anything I dislike yet!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I thought I would have to rent studio time to record all my content but instead I can use the avatars. I am saving so much time and money by uploading my script.
