What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia solves the challenge of creating consistent, professional customer onboarding videos without needing video production resources or on-camera talent. Previously, we relied on lengthy PDF guides and static presentations that customers often ignored. Now we create personalized welcome videos and step-by-step tutorials that guide customers through our platform.
I am enjoyed Synthesia - It is easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the ease of creating content videos for my company, I spent about an hour of the first video trying to become familiar with the system. The second video only took me about 20 minutes to create and launch. Very user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a little pricey to complete videos; you have to be on the largest plan to create more than one video.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to avoid having to be in the video, since, I am not an actor yet, needed to get my message out to the public.

I like the ability to save and apply brand kits

I'm still working out how to have the original video follow my suggestions for visuals in the initial video, by uploading the suggestions with the script, instead of having to replace each visual individually. It takes longer

What do you like best about the product?
I am in product marketing so explainer videos, short product tutorials, and demo videos are an integral part of my job. I really like how easy it is to edit existing video, revise scripts, and create new content on the fly without needing to be a subject matter expert. I also like how it helps to create the script for me. It's extremely easy to use - similar to using Powerpoint.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not able to import a video and transcribe the content within the tool. I need to do the transcription separately and copy/ paste it into Synthesia.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am responsible for creating product-related materials for my company, but I am not an expert user of our solutions. I am able to import existing demo videos, crop them, revise the script, and change the voice-over to be clear without needing to work with an SME to redo a demo over and over again to get it perfect. Its an amazing time saver for them and for me.

One thing I’m really looking forward to is being able to use my own personal avatar in videos. While Synthesia offers a great selection of avatars and voices, having a personalized avatar would take the experience to the next level and make my content feel even more authentic. I know the feature is in development, and I can’t wait for it to become available!
