Synthesia provides an incredibly user-friendly interface for creating high-quality AI-driven video content. It simplifies video production, saving significant time and effort, especially for creating professional-looking content without the need for extensive resources.

While Synthesia is highly efficient, it has limited customization options for complex scenarios. For example, adding intricate animations or unique voice variations can be challenging. Additionally, the dependency on internet connectivity for real-time processing can be a limitation in some cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia addresses the challenge of creating professional-grade videos efficiently and cost-effectively. It allows us to deliver high-quality training and marketing content without the need for a full-scale production team. This not only reduces overhead but also speeds up the production process, enabling quicker time-to-market for projects.
This is a dumb platform , very costly with annoying support staff

The automated analysis is very poor and work on some dumb logic they seriously need improvement

What do you dislike about the product?
I really wish there were an option for "read this highlighted section differently" for those times when the AI voice just doesn't do it quite right. I wish I could import .mov format videos rather than having to convert them to MP4. (Quicktime on my Mac only does screen recordings in .mov format, so I have to pull them into iMovie to convert them.) I wasn't able to get the Synthesia screen recorder plugin to work - I just got error messages. For some reason, replacing the template logo with my logo crops it weird. I wish you could have more than one editor on the below-Enterprise level plans. I wish videos generated faster. And most importantly, I really wish it had MFA so my account was more secure. I also wish it worked in Firefox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintenance on onboarding videos! Whenever our interface changed in the past, we'd have to re-record an entire video. Now I can just replace one screenshot and tweak the script a bit, and viola.

What do you like best about the product?
It is simple to use and works in multiple languages. The AI video assisstant is fantastic and very easy to use. I use Synthesia on all of the courses that I teach for the Chartered Institute of Marketing and at Hult International Business School

I would like to be able to preview a video before hitting generate.

Instructional Videos is an area that growing fast in a large number of industries. Synthesia provides a fast and easy way to support this growth.
Synthesia adding value to Technical Training in Australia
What do you like best about the product?
Synthesia is excellent at allowing us to develop resources on the go. Changes are easy to achieve when a grammar mistake is found or you wish to add additional content. We have found it valuable in providing engaging technical training resources for our cohort of students. The trainers love using the videos we are creating, which is why we keep coming back. With the new suite of features being developed, this will only become more exciting, keeping students engaged.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took some time to get used to the platform, and to be honest, we are still discovering new things to do. The only hassle is having to keep saving and make sure you republish the video.. It takes some getting used to the avatars and the voices, especially using technical words and getting the pronunciation right, but that's half the fun.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing engaging content for very easily distracted folks who would rather be on their phones than watching real life video resources.
