Synthesia. From idea to video in minutes
What do you like best about the product?
Among the most practical features of Synthesia I like the wide range of realistic and high quality avatars to choose from, making it easy to adapt the message I want to convey in my creations according to the context. Also, it's great that I can adjust the tone in each segment of the video depending on how I edit the script text. And for any eventuality, it has well-structured tutorials available to get the most out of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
My experience with Synthesia has been almost flawless. When more complex questions arose, the online support was fast, knowledgeable and friendly, resolving my concerns without delay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia is constantly evolving, with continuous improvements in its capabilities. In the time I've been using it, I've been able to create engaging visual content without the need for complex production; instead of spending hours recording, editing and reviewing videos, I can now produce fully customizable and entertaining material in a matter of minutes.
Better videos in half the time
What do you like best about the product?
Not having to depend on one person, nor having to record hundreds of takes to produce videos, saves a lot of work time for the audiovisual creation department. And being able to have those videos in different languages with a single click is totally great!
It is also easy to use, very intuitive and the customer service is very helpful and efficient.

What do you dislike about the product?
In Spanish, the lip sync with certain words is still a bit awkward, but I'm sure it will improve in a short time.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very intuitive to use and it does not need any training. Just getting started and working on creating a video you can easily build up your skill level and in a short time, the videos are something you could only wish for a few years ago.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes they will have a seminar for a new feature and they don't make it clear that the feature is only available to the higher level membership plans.

without synthesia, we really would have no way to create such a clean comprehenive and professional suiote of both training and promotional videos.

Synthesia is easy to use, has all of the assets I need for video creation, and their customer service is unbeatable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like it to have scorm capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I enjoy the professional look of sythesia and its avatars. I used a less robust tool before this and am glad I made the switch. I'm able to easily create videos that match my brand, and the avatars are personable and professional. I also really value the ability to access Getty images and video seamlessly while building. This cuts down on uploading my own stock videos and has been essential for efficiency.

The AI visual and the AI voice are still not completely sync - it is clear that this is not a real person

Easy to use and intuitive text/content generation. Also, I appreciate that there's a lot of options in the free version.

It would be nice to have more image options in the free version.

Such an excellent and easy to use professional addition to my marketing
What do you like best about the product?
I love the range of Avatars and Voices and templates provided to help you make the best product for your business and what ever you wish to use the system for. I have now used it for numerous pages on my company website and also to send a Christmas message to retained clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I do not like is the fact that you cannot add the product to your Mailchimp with a correct link that is easy to add and then shows the presentation, ready to click and watch.. Unless I am wrong and have not identified the way to achieve this yet.

It helps tremendously when creating specific text for my website whilst ensuring I also have a relevant image to use.

What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Synthesia consistently for a week to create a quite long tutorial for software onboarding, and my experience has been mostly positive. One of the first things I noticed was how smooth and intuitive it is to get started. The platform’s interface feels very much like working with Google Slides—super easy to integrate into your workflow and requiring almost no learning curve. Despite using it extensively, I haven’t needed to reach out to customer support, which speaks volumes about the tool’s user-friendliness.

There are areas that need improvement. When incorporating screen recordings, I sometimes encountered synchronization delays or issues when adding videos to a “slide,” which required multiple retakes to align everything correctly. Another drawback is that the video preview often doesn’t match the final export. This inconsistency forced me to generate mid-version exports just to verify the output, leading to an early depletion of my generation minutes.
Speaking of generation minutes, their limitation is arguably Synthesia’s biggest drawback. Either the previews need to work seamlessly as accurate representations of the final export, or the allocation of generation minutes should be more generous to account for these discrepancies.
