Makes narrating my content quick and easy
What do you like best about the product?
Narration is easy to produce, and quick.

ai avatars have not been received well in LTD content
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Narrating my content has given my learners additional quality of life. Previously narration was done manually, and took a long time, so was often left out.
Rich robust editor!
What do you like best about the product?
Their editor is well designed. I use editors like Final Cut and Premiere Pro and your editor is very rich in features and transtions. You can accomplish complex edits very easily. I can make beautiful text animations too easily. They should be so easy on Final Cut!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are MANY times that I have rendered a production ONLY to find some random glitches in the final render. They're not in the editor mode and I test the videos before I render. You have to keep in mind that many of the glitches are in the Avatars and when in editor or preview mode, you can't see what the Avatar will respond with until it's too late and I've already rendered the video. I just asked for a refund of time for my last occurence of this issue, but it's happened many, many times and I've wasted precious render minutes!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows me to have a Pro (SAG like production) with an Avatar.
Great UX, very simple and straightforward to use even for someone who never produced video before

Great UX and usability compared to other similar tools. Loads of AI features and avatars that actually work well.

There was billing issue in the start but Synthesia support solved that in no time!

It makes really easy to create videos, including AI avatars for someone who never worked with similar tools before and does not want to spend hours learning it.

Allow to create your own avatar was pretty incredible.

What do you like best about the product?
I can create hugely impactful short videos in double-quick time. It's both easy to use and great fun.

There are times when I struggle to achieve exactly the emphasis or intonation I am looking for from an avatar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously I used video footage recorded over the web or face-to-face with a video camera. It was always difficult to get consistently good content, not least because I was often dependent on an interviewee's own words or delivery. Editing was very time-consuming. Synthesia allows me to tell a story in three minutes that has great impact and doesn't take hours of work to craft.

Synthesia is PowerPoint on steroids!
What do you like best about the product?
Basically, it turns boring presentations into somewhat an engaging experience. It's not something our company uses daily, but 1-2 presentations a month for different departments is more than enough. There are over 150 different avatars to choose from, and some can even change the color of their attire and allow you to add a logo. It supports over 120 languages with a ton of accents and voice options, including cloned voices. The new lifelike V3 avatars are super impressive because they analyze your script and adjust their expressions to match, making them feel much more natural. The UI is straightforward and easy to use, especially for someone familiar with video editing. Customer support is okay, if they can't reach you today, they always do it the next day. There's also a native player that allows switching languages on the fly, which is very convenient for a multinational team. Overall, Synthesia is a great choice among its competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like most AI software Synthesia feels a bit artificial, and some co-workers find the avatars a bit "creepy" or uncanny at times. Rendering times are also a drawback—it can take 30 minutes to render a 15-minute video, and even small edits, like adding a comma, require a full re-render. Pronunciation is hit or miss too. While it supposedly supports IPA, it doesn’t always work, and numbers are sometimes pronounced incorrectly. That said, these are not hard problems, just areas for improvement.

Like I said before, it turns dull presentations into something worth watching.

What do you like best about the product?
Is really easy to use, its features are cool and the wey we can an create videos for ours customers and stakeholders make it more professional, it saves me like 90% of my time and its customer support is fast.

High Performance; Short Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Synthesia is that if you've ever used a straightforward design / build tool before (e.g. PowerPoint) then you'll be able to pick up the basics faster than you'd think. Having such an intuitive design is a tremendous boon for a larger company with employees having an array of skillsets and experience with technology. I enjoy having confidence that I can take Synthesia to anyone and they can easily review and understand the video creation process. Plus, I've had excellent experiences with their customer support team. They're fast, knowledgable and respect my time.
What do you dislike about the product?
They still seem to rollout interface updates without giving proper advance notication. It's not a show stopping issue, but it can cause some bumps, even when the updates are minor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to create videos, with or without on-screen AI personas; and we need to do so quickly. This includes video edits and updates, which can be numerous. Having Synthesia accomplishes all of this at a very good price point.
Best AI avatar solution out there
What do you like best about the product?
Simple and pretty thorough video creation tools suitable for most tasks. Continually improving avatars. Fast responses from customer support. Being able to listen back to your scripts means you can ensure your videos will sound right first time - this is a massive time and cost saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some inconsistencies in how avatars pronounce the same word makes adding diction more tedious than necessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recording and editing videos is a lengthy and costly process. 2 - 3 weeks from start to finish. Now, we can create videos in a couple of days. Plus some clients require our content to be customised which added more expense and time. Now we can deliver edits within hours.
