Synthesia is a great tool for compelling avatar-based video creation
What do you like best about the product?
Excellent quality, realism and control over backgrounds, media, transitions and other professional requirements. The addition of SCORM output is a good move towards accomodating the e-learning market that I am a part of.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited number of render minutes makes Synthesia difficult to justify for mid-range e-learning projects, which require much more runtime than marketing and internal corporate videos.
The range of avatars remains too limited in demographics and options for my needs, in that we need considerably larger populations wihtin each avatar’s ethnographic identity to really be able to tune up our outputs for realistic learning interactions.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthesia eliminates the many problems encountered when working with the badly produced and poorly edited video that clients often supply as an input into e-learning projects. Synthesia video is clean and professional in quality, with perfect soundtracks.

What do you like best about the product?
I am really impressed with the quality of videos produced. The visuals are remarkably clean, with crisp resolutions and seamless transitions that give the content a polished, high-end feel.
Unlike other platforms I’ve tried, this one stands out because it consistently delivers professional-looking videos that don't feel overly artificial or forced. The designs are sleek, with attention to detail in the composition. This level of refinement elevates the final product, making it look like something that could be used in corporate settings or high-profile marketing campaigns.
The platform's intuitive nature also makes it easy to maintain this professional standard without requiring advanced editing skills, which is a huge plus.

The only thing I don't like is that generating the videos can be confusing, since it it set with premium features by default.

I do not have any experience or time to create videos. Synthesia really solves this issue for me with ease.

To enable the value of our product, the customers of our customers need to use our product.We used Synthesia to set up a video template that our customers can use to promote our product to their customers as a whitelabeled video!
Creating the video templates were intuitive and super easy to implement. Once we had the templates, it took seconds to generate a whitelabeled video for our customers. We've now been able to build whitelabeled videos for many of our customers in very little time and it's accelerated adoption of our platform!
Our customers can't get enough of these videos. We're using Synthesia all the time now to accelerate customer time to value.
What we like:

It would take incredibly long time to create a custom white labeled video for each of our customers, it wouldn't be worth it. But with Synthesia the impossible became possible and we were able to deliver a video to our customers that was customized to them and helped drive adoption of our platform.

Fluid, accurate, simply amazing and massive time saver
What do you like best about the product?
It is saving me MONTHS for video production time. It is easy to use and the 1 day processing time to create an avatar is more than reasonable. The video generation from the avatar takes under 15 minutes. I love being able to reclaim personal avatar quotas if the need to be re-done
What do you dislike about the product?
I had a lazy-eye in my avatar (likely because i naturally had one from reading a teleprompter). Sicne it corrects eye alignment anyways, it would be nice to know to correct that use case in general as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Taking video is extremely time consuming, especially since i dont have a dedicated set. I only need to stage a set once now for all the avatars and ultimately my videos.
EXTRAORDINARILY SIMPLE TO USE WITH RESULTS WE CAN SEE
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use to provide a customized experience that can turn into an effective ad. We were able to post 3 ads on 3 platforms that collectively got almost 90,000 views; Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok. As our business grows we will expand and increase the frequency of our use of this platform in our Marketing, Customer support and our vision for a AI guided FAQ of sorts. The video handling was very remarkable. It does things we simply cannot do with any other platform. Even if you weren't able to produce an avatar to read your script this could be very helpful with adds. We were able to integrate multiple videos running sumultaneously for a wonderfully effective implementation and integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was a learning curve as there will be with any video platform but we were able to get this going with each video getting better and better with the customer support aspect of this platform . The last one we just did is fantastic and we love it.

Producing ads that can engage our customers at the same time we demonstrate the product being used.

Honestly I am still exploring the software so I have not yet seem much to dislike! I think they can improve by addind more Google Fonts within the editor interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I run a marketing agency and have a client who I advised for the landing page we're building. We needed to have a short 60-second video of him speaking as a medical doctor. But unfortunately, he did not want to cooperate. He thought we can do it without the video. So I was thinking of what solution can I possibly have that can help us to at least capture some kind of short video advising potential patients about the procedure and how he can be of help to him. So that's when I did some Google search and I found Synthesia. I've been looking forward to using the tool and really building something out that at least in this first month's trial, I want to make sure that I can at least build some kind of AI video that could be very informative. So I really look forward to taking it for a spin.
Super realistic AI voices and characters, easy to create videos in minutes!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the vast selection of differect AI characters and voices, especially the fact that you can choose from many languages. The lip-syncing is superb and sometimes you cannot even tell it's AI-read. I also appreciate the templates you can use for your videos as it saves a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is minor but I would appreciate if you could change the intonation in some sentences a bit more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to present news to our software users in a nice, easy-to-consume fashion without them having to read long and boring articles.
Using Synthesia allows my small business to have a professional edge for my content.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to produce high quality, professional content builds the brand image I want. I also use this for parts of my training packages so this again builds an overall impression that I am a larger company than I actually am. This helps with attracting Corporate clients.

I love that you can set up the different slides and move through creation of the video seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am building a course, and I've had my videos rejected for Inauthentic Behaviour: Impersonation. The video is a fake IEP meeting, where I wrote the script and put a clear warning that this does not represent real people. It continues to reject it - though I do not believe this is in violation of the spirit of the policy, and I cannot create the course material. Because there are no refunds, I've basically paid for something I cannot use. I've filed multiple appeals but received no response.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I want a standardized approach to video content with the same voice throughout and this makes that easier than expected.
