Super realistic AI voices and characters, easy to create videos in minutes!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the vast selection of differect AI characters and voices, especially the fact that you can choose from many languages. The lip-syncing is superb and sometimes you cannot even tell it's AI-read. I also appreciate the templates you can use for your videos as it saves a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is minor but I would appreciate if you could change the intonation in some sentences a bit more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to present news to our software users in a nice, easy-to-consume fashion without them having to read long and boring articles.
Using Synthesia allows my small business to have a professional edge for my content.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to produce high quality, professional content builds the brand image I want. I also use this for parts of my training packages so this again builds an overall impression that I am a larger company than I actually am. This helps with attracting Corporate clients.

I love that you can set up the different slides and move through creation of the video seamlessly.

I am building a course, and I've had my videos rejected for Inauthentic Behaviour: Impersonation. The video is a fake IEP meeting, where I wrote the script and put a clear warning that this does not represent real people. It continues to reject it - though I do not believe this is in violation of the spirit of the policy, and I cannot create the course material. Because there are no refunds, I've basically paid for something I cannot use. I've filed multiple appeals but received no response.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I want a standardized approach to video content with the same voice throughout and this makes that easier than expected.
Easy, smooth, highly customizable
What do you like best about the product?
Introduction of custom avatars was the game changer as it allowed us to personalize our internal training videos and bring more familiarity and focus in presenting the materials. It was easy to set up, and enabled quick rollout and scalable across time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cons: Some languages are processed better, and others require a lot of post editing and pronounciation corrections, but thankfully customization is available to finetune the content.

Inflexibility with monthly allocation of 10 minutes to generate video's. Some months I need more, some months I don't use it at all.

I had issues with the video quality and speaking sync when I used the platform in the past, but the recent improvements have resolved all of my previous concerns. One area that could still be enhanced is the editor for adding custom fonts and other design elements. While the platform is intuitive and easy to use, having more advanced controls for text customization—such as font variety, size flexibility, and more granular styling options—would make the videos even more dynamic and tailored. These improvements would make Synthesia an even more comprehensive tool for content creators who want to maintain brand consistency and unique visual aesthetics.

The ease and flexibility of selecting the avatars, changing their voices and integrating animation with the script they are using.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the ability to override the pronounciation of certain words is a great feature, I do struggle with getting that prounciation to work. Perhaps using a strcutured phonetic format might help?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a consistent and high quality elearning courses with great narration. Using avatars makes this process so quick and easy compared to using traniners/actors to do the voice overs and include film of themselcves within the videos.
