What do you like best about the product?
I find Rocket.Chat very helpful for internal chats, especially when it's difficult to discuss team problems via calls. I like that we can mention each tech and specifically address each issue in the chat, which makes it easier to report certain issues to specific people. The initial setup of Rocket.Chat was very helpful for our team. Overall, everything looks good, and I would highly recommend it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rocket.Chat helps us with internal communication by making it easy to share team issues without needing calls. We can mention specific issues to the right team members, streamlining how we report problems.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the interface is clean and easy for people to adopt. The customization options actually matter because you can tailor channels, permissions, and integrations, which prevents you from being boxed into someone else's workflow. Having full control over data and hosting is a major win, making security and compliance easier to manage. The integrations with automation tools and external systems work smoothly, and the API gives you room to build whatever you need. I also appreciate having ownership over the communication platform instead of just renting it. The initial setup was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is dated and needs a cleaner, more modern look.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rocket.Chat gives me full control over data and hosting, which makes security and compliance easier to manage. The smooth integrations with automation tools and external systems, along with a customizable interface, allow me to tailor workflows extensively instead of being limited by preset options.

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Rocket.Chat for its control, customization, and user experience. Having control over data is really important to me because it addresses data sovereignty, letting me know exactly where conversations, files, and user data are stored, which is great for privacy, compliance, and security. Rocket.Chat also serves as a more affordable alternative to Slack, which helps with reducing costs.

Self-hosting and maintenance can be a bit demanding, especially for smaller teams without dedicated DevOps teams or capacity.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Rocket.Chat for its flexibility and ability to support our workflow effectively. It allows us to create an almost unlimited number of channels and integrate various bots, which significantly enhances our communication capabilities. The platform provides real-time notifications from different business systems, which is crucial for staying updated. I love that Rocket.Chat is lightweight and fast, operating smoothly on all devices, whether we are in the office or on the move. This comprehensive functionality allows it to fully replace our previous need for Slack. Its seamless integration with our existing tools and systems, such as monitoring platforms and custom bots, centralizes notifications and streamlines communication across teams, making it an invaluable asset. One of the standout benefits is the option for self-hosting, which gives us full control over our data and infrastructure—an essential factor since we handle highly sensitive information.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few areas that could be improved for sure. Some integrations require additional setup or plugins, and occasional updates introduce small interface quirks that need adjustment. A more polished mobile UI and smoother notification handling would also make the experience even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rocket.Chat centralizes our internal communication, integrates automated alerts and bots, works on all devices, and replaces Slack, making communication seamless whether in the office or on the move.

What do you like best about the product?
as you can brand it also you can modify permissions ,custom roles, add or build your own integrations, microservices, apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
if you compared it with slack or ms teams i think they need to enhance the user experience more as the interface is less refined
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
most enterprise chat systems can't modify source code have limited control over integrations
with rocket.chat you can build you own plugins , bots or apis as a technical consultant i uses oracle fusion + oic there is no real time alerting or collaboration

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can connect with my work team immediately. Additionally, I have the ability to send videos and voice notes, as well as easily share documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were occasions when it was not possible to integrate with other company programs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were allowed to share documents simultaneously, which improved the productivity of the collaborators.

What do you like best about the product?
Open-source and self-hosted—full data control and easy customization.
What do you dislike about the product?
More admin overhead and a less polished UX (especially mobile) than hosted alternatives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secure, self-hosted messaging that centralizes team comms, integrates with our systems (LDAP/SSO), reduces email noise, and keeps data in-house for compliance, saving time and cost.
