Ringcentral phone system
What do you like best about the product?
It is really nice being able to call from my computer with a wireless beats 3 headset. I can connect with Bluetooth from my mac and make calls on the digital dialer. This allows me to block out a lot of noise with the headset and the mic on the beats is fairly decent at noise canceling. Using the mobile app is cool because it will forward inbound calls to your cell from your office phone. Good and bad at times if you get a lot of inbound calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've had periods of outages from time to time. More-so than with our wired connection, but we didnt have as many options for calling. I think I still like RingCentral more than our previous provider.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Calling from remote locations on mobile devices. Ability to take your office phone wherever you go. Better organization and control of peoples lines.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Bare minimum. Try it. Seems to work great for us, I'm sure you can compare what you have currently with this, but it may offer more options. Especially for sales.
Ability to have work phone anywhere!
What do you like best about the product?
RingCentral gives me the capability of having my work number with me whenever without having to have a separate work phone!
What do you dislike about the product?
The app can be a little buggy at times, but for the purpose it serves I can't complain.

Hard phone works well, Soft phone could use some work
What do you like best about the product?
It’s reliable, saves my messages, and the hard phone works well. It’s reliable and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very frequent updates that take a long time with no added features. Soft phone features are hard to find - even when I’m always looking for the phone icon, it’s just not easy to use quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A hard phone at my desk, with a soft phone option. For the most part it does the job.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It’s probably as good or better than competitors. For softphone integration into another program, they want to charge $17 extra per user, which is ludicrous.
Professional, yet Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
RingCentral provides all the features of a call center or PBX system without all the hardware. VoIP phones are easy to use and program.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, the phones lose connection with the internet and the system does not work. This has happened once or twice a year for the five years we've used the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No PBX system to maintain. Less expensive than a traditional multiple-line account with a phone company.
Robust VOIP solution for a small office with remote sites that are often not staffed
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, INCREDIBLE customer service-Competent live support almost instantly when needed most
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can be overwhelming. A small change could have a devastating effect
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unstaffed remote offices can have phones answered easily. Move phones as needed in our buildings as we grow
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In for a penny, in for a pound, you cant do it halfway! Be ready for some growing pains, but in the end, it will be worth it. Big company functionality even if your tiny
Simplified messaging for the office
What do you like best about the product?
Quickly being able to navigate around the software/app in order to fax, call, text, or have webinar meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have sometimes experienced a bit of a problem with the audio or the quality of the audio on large group webinars.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to get a national company together for meetings.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
All I can say about it (like any web conferencing) be sure that yourself and your participants are in an area with a good internet connection so it doesn't cause issues- especially the more users you get on there.
A good business office provider
What do you like best about the product?
We get dedicated lines for our employees as well as call queues that ring to groups. The support we receive is excellent. When we have a question it is answered quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't assign different ringtones by phone number dialed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We like each employee having a dedicated phone number. We also like that we can set up groups (departments) to receive calls.
Gsuite
What do you like best about the product?
I like that people from my office's email addresses are saved in the system so that it is simple for me to access them.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it is difficult for me to change my password
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting an entire office across various locations via one system
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider using this instead of other systems because it is integrated with Gmail, wihich is very helpful when many of your users are already familiar with that software.
Bad Service
What do you like best about the product?
Their customer service is absolutely horrible. Ever since I first signed up they have obviously changed the way they handle customer service. Originally they had their own call center with staffed agents. Then I started noticing situations where they had "level" techs
What do you dislike about the product?
hese were basically glorified secretaries that took all your information, said pretty words and then transferred to someone who dealt with the issue. It was inconvenient and time consuming but it wasn't a horrible experience. Now when you call it is straight up a call center reading off a script. They have no idea what the product even is and they just try to help you by pointing out the website FAQs or telling you something they are reading off a piece of paper. They are trained so horribly that you can actually detect the timing when they are reading off the paper. Horrible customer service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I received a month free but they make you sign a contract to get the month free. I have been trying to close my account since two weeks in the free month and they will not close it.
All in One CLoud Communication Platform the really delivers
What do you like best about the product?
RingCentral is the best place to start from scratch. You get great call paths, team collab, SMS and terrific reporting. It is an intuitive tool that gives admins line of sight on all aspects as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not the cheapest solution out there and just because you can include everything doesn't mean you should. Not everyone wants to pay for all their users to have fax, toll audio and video conferencing. You can't mix your levels either which a real bummer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We manage a distributed workforce with mobile and home office staff. We now have call queues, extension dialing and presence. It has been a game changer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you haven't deployed IM, or Team Messaging look here first. You can get it all here. If you are managing a sales team ask about Live Reports. You can wallboard your call details for gamification sake. It's great!
