Office VoIP System with Straightforward, Useful Features
What do you like best about the product?
Made the process of managing your own phone system reasonably simple. Transferring calls and conferencing in other callers is straightforward. The fax system was great, very easy to track history and what successfully transmitted. It was similarly useful being able to listen to voicemails online and getting a notification via email to include in your to-do email list. I don't have experience with other VoIP systems so maybe these things are standard but I feel this system offers everything I could expect from software of this nature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Based on feedback from our administrator, the support seemed limited and it was difficult to change the structure of the system once it was initially set up, i.e. giving past employees' phones to new employees and reassigning the extensions, as well as reassigning extensions in general. Also, this may be no fault of the system but some faxes would fail occasionally, likely due to the receiver's set up rather than RingCentral.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to send faxes online because some companies unfortunately still require them, and we are able to organize our phone extensions to set up our directory in a way that makes sense for customers and allows pertinent calls to go to groups (such as Sales, Accounting, etc).

What do you like best about the product?
RingCentral is reliable. Call quality is very crisp. Support is awesome. What more could you want?
What do you dislike about the product?
From time to time there is a slight lag.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RingCentral was the tool that connects us to our prospects in order to build relationships that turn into revenue. We've used some open source technologies that were a nightmare, so the ultimate benefit of RingCentral is reliability.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Got for it. You'll be glad you did. Phone calls are the life blood of the business, don't cheap out on choosing the right option.
Office efficiency with pleasant ringtones
What do you like best about the product?
Having the ability to check for missed calls, program to send after hours calls to a cell phone, download a call log to ensure we have not missed any business calls, and at the same time, use it as a teaching tool for those being trained to answer the phones.
What do you dislike about the product?
Infrequently needs a restart to re-initialize, mainly after software updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previous missed calls were not captured as easily as they are with RingCentral. We are satisfied customers.
Great for faxes
What do you like best about the product?
We use it for faxing documents as needed. Why buy a fax machine?

It's good for faxing. Haven't used it for anything else.

Great Calling and Messaging App
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can transfer calls to someone even when they are several miles away!
What do you dislike about the product?
The iPhone app can be glitchy when trying to text.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to transfer calls to remote office staff, being able to share screens during a meeting, caller ID.
Lie, Sneak, Cheat -- Buyer beware of Ring Central. Don't ever expect to speak with anyone in the uS

Integration with Zoho CRM worked for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sales and Customer Service Support is atrocious. if you're a US based company find someone who has US based support. Ring Central sales and support is sneaky, lying, and will cheat to get your business. Watch out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ring Central has horrible service and is relying on the fact that they are the 'biggest'. Buyer beware, biggest is not best.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have tried 3 companies and they have the worst customer service of all. I don't want this to sound like I am promoting another company so I will leave them out. All I can say is run to another. and run fast to a company in the top 5 that has all US based support (assuming you're a US based customer).
Perfect Virtual Fax
What do you like best about the product?
No need for a fax machine, a phone line or all of that nonsense. Just scan your information and it is faxed over the internet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, just the hassle of having to scan. But, there is no easy way around that unless you have the technology to never remove the docs off of your computer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
no expensive equipment (beyond a printer/scanner which you likely have and/or need anyway), no expensive phone line that you don't use for anything else

Cold calling- it shows your calling history with date and time.

The best system
What do you like best about the product?
I love the reporting features, the user features (meetings, app for cell phone, etc).
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish there were alerts that could be set up. For instance, if voicemails aren't listened to within 24 hours, the admin would be notified.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to identify how often certain individuals answer the phone in the operations center and the call volume peaks during the week/month/year.

Nothin much. Ring central does what we want: answer calls and redirect them

We used to have a phone line just to redirect calls and a fax line. Now we get both for cheaper than the single phone line
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are many companies in the US offering this kind of service. I only know this one in Canada (at the time we signed up anyways). Have not look lately (price has not increased).
