RingEX is reliable and easy to use. The settings are intuitive.
What do you like best about the product?
I like best that I can use the app on the phone for everything, including sending faxes.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you have a lot of lines, it can be easy to get confused and make a mistake. It is intuitive but you must have some knowledge of technology and software. Still, they have very good instructions and training for those who want to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easy to do a lot through one app.
Deleted all my data after repeatedly saying that wouldn't happen
What do you like best about the product?
It does work as an application based call system for customers to contact staff as if it was their cell phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their customer support is abysmal. After confirming more than 3 times on the phone that transferring my extension would not delete my call recording or text messages (support said only voicemail recordings), she did the switch and it wiped evertything. Then she had the nerve to say it must have been a miscommunication. Making changes your account is not easy and support is terrible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want customers to be able to contact our team with the equivalent of a cell number, without it being a cell.
Worst experience in my business career
What do you like best about the product?
We used ring central for our phone services from day one - for over 13 years. It worked but then when employees left or were terminated - you were locked into a 3 year contract and they would make you pay for the lines you were not using!
What do you dislike about the product?
This company is only interested in ripping you off. They were charging me 950 a month for using 8 lines and would not let me out of the contract as i had sold off a portion of my business and reduced the size of my company! Even though i had been their client for over 10 years - there is no flexibility. No for the same services and more, and better customer care and service i pay $110 a month!!!!! Do not ever get into a contract with them - they could care less to help you and your business in whatever situation you find yourself in!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you dislike about the product?
We havent really come across anything that we dislike at this point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It combines deskphones, softphones, faxing and text capabilities.
Transition to RingCentral was surprisingly smooth
What do you like best about the product?
The team messaging feature is my favorite tool. As our company has grown from 10 employees to 30+, communication becomes a real challenge. With direct messaging and team messaging, it make collaboration so much easier.
We also like the phone call handling features that RingCentral has, such as call transfer, call park, call queues, recording, etc.
Being able to seamlessly swap between devices, (desktop PC, mobile phone, and even desk phone), is great! It has been a great replacement for our NEC phone system.
We use the system daily, and the uptime has been 100%. We now have a backup internet connection that our network automatically rolls over to in the (too frequent) event when our main fiber internet goes down. The NEC system did not work with the roll-over, RingCentral works fine.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve, as with anything new. The most difficult part of the change was getting our old analog paging horns connected. But once we had the correct adapter connected, it works fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our main push to get a new phone system was because our primary fiber internet connection kept going out for several hours or more several times a year. We had an on premise VOIP PBX and it was not compatible with a roll over internet connection, as it required a fixed IP. Since implementation, our fiber internet connection was down for 3 days! So happy with our cellular back up connection worked as expected!
We have been using RingCentral for 3 years. We currently have 20 lines. Great customer service!
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to have unlimited number of extensions for all of our facilities. Great customer service when I need help.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes complicated to do things on the app (configuring things), so I have to call for support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to add a line and order a phone.
Great small business option for phone and voicemail
What do you like best about the product?
The option of using the RingCentral app to divert calls to staff mobile phones is very convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Set up is a bit tricky for phone greetings and messages but the personalized service makes short work of it as needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving money on a conventional PABX system is the major benefit for us as well as the scheduled opening times and vm recordings duriing out of hours or busy periods when we are open by can't take calls.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business used the cloud based fax service, as well as leveraged a digital to analog converter to recieve faxes to our fax machine. Setup was easy and there is plenty of documentaition to get up and running.
Great product and service
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to set up new users and manage our account. Service is reliable and it's also nice to be able to use RingEX from your mobile phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
About every 4-6 months there has been a global issue that has taken our phones down for 1-3 days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to connect with remote colleagues as well as vendors.
