Meh - That's all there is to say about this software.
What do you like best about the product?
It makes calls. That's really just about it. It has no notable good features. There is really not a lot that can be added to the positives column on this one beyond that.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ring Central is slow, clunky, and quite meh. It's not a great program, though it does the job in a semi-adequate manner, I suppose. But it is always a hassle to deal with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes calls. There is no other usage for it that our organization made, or has made of the software, now or in the past. The ability to make calls from one's computer.

i like that it functions just like zoom, it appears to be faster

other than not being able to connect it to my google calendar, no complaints at this time, typically used for client meetings

I notice that it is much easier to get external people onto meetings

Ring Central has allowed me to work internationally and stay connected with my clients without interruption.

I have nothing negative to say about RingCentral. They are very responsive to any issues and I have not experienced any outages or lost connections.

I wanted to stay connected with my clients via phone and web conference while I was working internationally.
Able to call from my US based number in Vietnam, Thailand, and Mexico without anyone knowing I was away

They are an excellent VOIP for digital nomads
Stable, Feature-Rich, and Scalable - A Great Service for Any Organization
What do you like best about the product?
RingCentral has almost every feature that you would want in a phone system, and their service and reliability have been outstanding for us. I have been a RingCentral customer for over 15 years and have never experienced a major outage or interruption of service.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had more flexibility in extensions that may not make many/any outgoing calls but require a deskphone. Their pricing scheme does not work for all organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RingCentral MVP brings us outstanding service without costly capital/maintenance/upgrade hardware bills. We, and organizations that I have referred to RingCentral also have benefitted from the flexibility of the service and when COVID lockdowns started, moving employees home was trivial (pick up your phone and go) and video conferencing was seamless (already a feature every customer had).

its easy to use and does everything plus so much more then what our old telephone lines did

the website back end is a little tricky to figure out but thats because it can do so much

The RingCentral team has done a fantastic job of making their software as easy and accessible for non-technical people. You don't need any coding skills to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to be able to zoom or google them when I need their attention. When it's time for me talk, they have call on my cel which isn't right because of signal issues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been really liking the SMS features of this app. I'm thinking about using their IVR and VM soon though. They sound like such great tools for business.

The call quality of the support line. It is tough to hear the agents.

Technical support is an issue
What do you like best about the product?
It basically does what I need. Texting works great, visually easy to use.... most of the time the call quality is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Tech support system is terrible. In my latest bout, I would call the tech support number, input endless information , wait on hold for long periods. Then in 6 separate instances over a period of 3 days, I would promptly be disconnected after going through a description of the problem. As frustrating as that is, even worse is the fact the NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK after the disconnect !! Even in some cases, after the person asked me for my call back number in the event we got cut off!! Unreal but true. My issues are still unresolved, hence why I am in the process of switching to a new company.

It's a phone service, I'm using it to make phone calls and text

What do you like best about the product?
We have used RingCentral for about a year, and thus far, it has been exceptional. No connectivity issues, simple to use (like a normal phone), and the convenience of taking your "office phone" with you is excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure I have anything that I dislike. It has been almost flawless in my opinion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in a warehouse so being at my desk is not possible. I have experienced much quicker resolution to solving problems for my sales reps, who can readily get in contact with me via phone and not email.
