RingCentral Meetings was a must for our Pandemic 72 hour kit!
What do you like best about the product?
RingCentral meetings came to our company in the knick of time - we implemented it right before the pandemic sent everyone home for the year!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only clunky thing about RC Meetings is the Meeting Login Screen stays persistent (at least on a Mac) and it sometimes steals focus when you're in the meeting
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We quickly needed all of our Sales and Customer Service representatives to be able to hold virtual meetings. RC Meetings gave us the tools and licensing to keep in touch with our clients, and we didn't miss a beat!
RingCentral - Serves the essential need
What do you like best about the product?
The seamless transition of calls between devices such as softphones, computer application, and the desktop phone is effortless and not noticeable to the caller. The Salesforce integration was simple to set up and maintain.
What do you dislike about the product?
Each time I make a call, I have the acknowledge the E911 warning, which becomes annoying. The call recording feature only stores calls going back 90 days. The administration panel is not the smoothest out there and can be frustrating to work within.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a dedicated office line instead of using our personal phones allows for us to be able to disconnect from work when we are "off the clock". The shared fax line is nice, though we have never used it.
Ring Central Solution
What do you like best about the product?
We run a dispatch call center that utilizes Ring Central. It is perfect for us and the call center loves it! They can answer the phone from their computer using headsets that make it very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to have good wifi service to utilize the software, which usually is not a problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to run all kinds of productivity reports and even use it to provide rewards for those answering the most calls. We can also tell the average length the call took and who has the most calls.
Video Meeting platform that is super easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
You can easily connect and collaborate with coworkers. I also love how easy it is to get someone connected who has never used the platform before.
What do you dislike about the product?
Remembering the meeting room number for each person can be a challenge. We just include it in our meeting invites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can easily connect with students and share screens to show them line-by-line documents and explain things in real-time face to face.
It is very user friendly, easy for outside users to use and join meetings.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how we have a communication platform very similar to Slack that also has a built-in phone system, so we do not have to have physical phones. We are also able to get the app on our phones and take calls no matter where we are.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a few bugs here and there. One major one is sometimes, when we put someone on hold, it will just hang up on them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to have excellent team communication even if we have people working remotely. We are also able to save a ton of money on phones since they have a built-in easy to use phone system

I can't think of a single redeeming feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would you use anything else that hasn't been updated since 2001? No. So don't use this. The UX is atrocious, the call quality is bad even plugged into great bandwidth. It's just bad.

A few months into our contract, we just got a different provider.
Useful, but you have to have the app on at all times

It's really good for the desktop. If you don't have a landline but use a voip connection on the desktop. This is a fantastic solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need to keep the app on the desktop at all times, and on your personal phone. Otherwise you will lose calls.

What do you like best about the product?
RingCentral Office has unlimited time which is great. Compared to other companies such as Zoom who limit you to 40 minutes. I also like that it is an easy way for my department to communicate with eachother.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have noticed more of my partners use Teams or Zoom so it is hard getting them to transition to another video conferencing platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unlimited time for partner meetings, I can communicate with my co-workers even if they arent in the office
Extremely Easy!
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use. You can be on the phone AND fax at the same time! You also do not have to worry because it is SAFE!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike with the RingCentral fax, and that's a fact!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a quicker solution to printing and then emailing. The reason it is quicker is that you can utilize what is on your computer as in your storage or documents. All your contacts are right there as well, no need to dial on an outdated pad.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is easy to use and awesome that you can place it on an app(extension) . You can talk on the phone while faxing, which is incredible. When you talk to multiple customers a day, it won't get interrupted. You can use your documents already on your computer, and your contacts are all right there.
