User friendly alternative to Webex/Skype
What do you like best about the product?
Able to use for external client meetings/interviews without too much fuss.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lag during video conference compared to other platforms

Interview external clients and ease of use for those not familiar with the platform.
Works well, but hard to get ported over

Works well with both the equipment we already have, and the service our sites already have

Rather a lengthy process to get ported over to RC.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Once every office is ported over, it will make life a lot easier to chat with team members and call between offices and business partners.
Ring Central meetings - honest review
What do you like best about the product?
It is cost-effective and that's the only reason we procured
What do you dislike about the product?
GUI is very hefty, it has features, that are generalized and displayed on-screen but cannot be accessed easily. The desktop looks so unclean when using this. Also, because of many features, the system slows down. And the worst part, users need to install it, there's no web version for users to join it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Only remote meeting is achieved
Working remote is easy with RingCentral Meetings
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the app for RingCentral Meetings, which allows me to stay connected to my colleagues even if I'm away from my laptop. The meeting ID system is easy to follow and I enjoy seeing my future meetings in a list. The video and audio options are also easy to adjust, such as muting and unmuting.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are occasional glitches with the software, which may or may not be due to my organization's network. One of the downsides of using the software is the need for strong WiFi and dedicated bandwidth, which can be a challenge when traveling and/or working remotely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefit of having RingCentral Meeting is being able to stay connected with colleagues and clients. We have scheduled 100s of meetings with the software and it's very reliable. Prior to RingCentral, we were using our in-person conference room system, which now seems irrelevant in the current work environment/"new normal".

The ability to assign other hosts, and the interface is straightforward

You can only host one meeting at a time - so you can schedule meetings for others

Working remotely, RingCentral allows our teams to communicate constantly
Expensive but great all-in-one system for VOIP and web conference

The entire phone system customizations. Soft phone. IVR. Video conf.

Price is much more than any other should ever pay

it bogs my system down but I am at least able to try to keep meetings all in one spot.
What's the point of RingCentral Meetings
What do you like best about the product?
RingCentral meetings is relatively easy to use. Being on the zoom platform is helpful for first-time users.
What do you dislike about the product?
RingCentral meetings is Zoom but can't run off Zoom. If the company is using the zoom platform, why can't they just use zoom? It's frustrating that every new person that joins my meeting has to download additional software on their computer. Especially because the software is nearly identical to Zoom Meetings. I constantly have to explain to people what they're doing and why they have to download a new app on their computer to join my meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RingCentral Meetings allows me to run online meetings effectively. The platform is great and reliable. I have been able to connect with my customers in a more personal way which has helped my sales grow.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Honestly, I would avoid using RingCentral Meetings if you can. It's simply a whitelabel of Zoom Meetings which most people already have downloaded on their computers. RingCentral meetings is not a bad product, it is just redundant in the industry. I wish RingCentral would just use the regular Zoom meetings instead of white labeling it.
Not a bad system
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to make calls out, you can connect it with your CRM, you can use it on your computer and on your phone
What do you dislike about the product?
Recently they disconnected from Hubspot and this caused a lot of issues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems were when Hubspot is not supported the plug in anymore and because of that caused a lot of issues in Hubspot. Sometimes the lines just cut off automatically or the program is not even start
Seamless Meeting/Video/Phone
What do you like best about the product?
While you are on a Meeting/Video Meeting/Phone/Chat, you can seamlessly change between the various channels as well as switch to and from other devices without having to reconnect.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as popular as other collaborative tools on the market but far superior in functionality/price for business and personal use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping connected and able to collaborate with colleagues and friends. With RIngCentral Office, you really can work from anywhere (WFA). The flexibility to transition from your computer to your phone and back provides true flexibility. RingCentral frees us from the tether of the desk for all of the calls/meetings we are all on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The functionality, five9's of uptime, and competitive pricing are worth looking into.
Clunky white label version of Zoom
What do you like best about the product?
The video and audio quality are standard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow to open. Updates can interfere with joining a meeting on time if you have other meeting platforms you're also using. Is not as seamless to use as something that is more integrated into my existing email program or calendar program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of several necessary tools for maintaining communications while teams are working remote and hybrid.
